How to distinguish aerial roots, overgrowth and color of succulents
The long air roots of succulents indicate that the root system has problems, including inability to support the main body, lack of oxygen, water and fertilizer. If it is a new variety, outgassing is a good phenomenon, and plants are slowly taking root.

In vain, the stem nodes are elongated, the leaves are thinned and the surface area is increased. This is caused by lighting conditions: the stems of plants with long-term illumination under weak light are the longest, the thinnest surface area of plants with short-term illumination under weak light is the largest, the leaves of plants with long-term illumination under strong light are the fattest, and the plants with short-term illumination under strong light are the shortest.

Fleshy leaves are mainly colored by less water, large temperature difference and strong light. The growth rate of succulents is little affected by large temperature difference, especially under ultraviolet radiation (the color difference between exposed balcony and glass balcony is very large).
