How many days is the growth cycle of tomatoes?
The growth cycle of tomato is 120- 180 days.

Generally speaking, it takes 7-9 days for tomato to germinate, 50 days for tomato to emerge at suitable temperature, 60-80 days in cold season and 40 days in high temperature season. This stage is a period when vegetative growth and reproductive growth go hand in hand. The flowering and fruit-setting period of tomatoes takes about 30 days, and the time required for early maturity or high temperature cultivation is shorter, and vice versa. After flowering and pollination, the tomato fruit begins to swell in 3-4 days, the fastest is 7-20 days, the swelling reaches the limit in 30 days, and the coloring reaches maturity in 40-50 days. During this period, management will significantly increase the yield, and the fruiting period of tomatoes will take about 30-50 days. During this period, fertilizer and water management should be strengthened to promote yield increase.

Temperature requirements for tomato cultivation:

The suitable temperature is 25℃ ~ 28℃ in the daytime and 16℃ ~ 18℃ at night. When the temperature is lower than 15℃, it will affect the germination, pollination and fertilization of tomato seeds and the tomato will turn red. When the temperature is lower than 15℃, the growth will be slow and the reproductive development will be inhibited. When the temperature is 5℃, the stem and leaf stop growing; When the temperature is 2℃, they suffer from chilling injury; When the temperature is 0℃, they will freeze to death. When the temperature is higher than 35℃, reproductive development will be affected, and when the temperature is higher than 40℃, physiological disorder will lead to thermal death.
