1. Fuzhou National Forest Park Fuzhou National Forest Park is located in Chiqiao Village, Xindian Town, the northern suburb of Fuzhou, also known as Fuzhou Botanical Garden. It is the first national forest park in Fujian Province and one of the top ten forest parks in China. Rich in forest vegetation and abundant in oxygen, it is the natural oxygen bar in Fuzhou. On holidays, many people come here to climb mountains, barbecue and have fun with their parents. Fuzhou National Forest Park has a large scale. The whole park is divided into six tourist areas: bamboo viewing garden, tree viewing area, human landscape area, Longtan scenic area with natural landscape as the main part, Fujian Forest Museum and Bird Language Forest. Rare plants under national first-class protection include Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Davidia involucrata, spinulosa spinulosa and Taiwania flousiana. There is a thousand-year-old banyan tree next to Bayi Reservoir, which is well protected and flourishing, and it is worth seeing. Mountaineering is the highlight of the park, mainly in the Longtan scenic spot of the park.
