Teach you to eat cold drinks correctly in summer!
In hot summer, many people drink a lot of cold drinks in pursuit of coolness. In fact, cold drinks are not the best way to cool off the heat, and cold drinks are not advocated in summer health preservation.

1. The beverage temperature is preferably between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius: the optimal beverage temperature is close to body temperature. Warm tea is an ideal drink. The temperature of cold drinks is generally lower than that in the stomach. Drinking too many cold drinks for a long time will make the blood vessels under the gastric mucosa contract, weaken the defense function of the stomach and affect health. Drinking less cold drinks and ice water, especially before and after meals, will not easily affect your health.

2. It is not advisable to eat cold drinks before and after meals: when eating, most of the human blood is concentrated in digestive organs such as the stomach. If you eat cold drinks immediately after meals, the enlarged blood vessels in the stomach will contract and the blood flow will decrease, which will hinder the normal digestive process. The stimulation of cold water will also accelerate the peristalsis of gastrointestinal tract and affect the absorption of nutrients by human body. At the same time, cold water will dilute gastric juice and affect digestion.

3. Be careful to eat cold drinks after exercise: It is unscientific to eat a lot of cold drinks after exercise in summer. Strenuous exercise raises the body temperature. Eating a lot of cold drinks at this time is a strong cold stimulus to the digestive tract, which will cause strong peristalsis of the digestive tract and produce abdominal pain and diarrhea. At the same time, the rapid change of heat and cold will cause the blood vessels in the stomach to contract suddenly, causing digestive and absorption dysfunction, leading to indigestion or other diseases. In addition, the throat may be congested after exercise, and excessive cold stimulation may cause sore throat and hoarseness. Therefore, it is not appropriate to eat cold drinks immediately after exercise, but to take a break before eating.

4. Hot and cold drinks should not be drunk alternately: some people drink hot coffee and hot milk immediately after drinking cold drinks. Such hot and cold changes can easily stimulate their teeth and cause dental diseases. Moreover, alternating cold drinks and hot drinks is not good for the gastrointestinal tract, which may easily lead to gastrointestinal dysfunction. So cold drinks and hot drinks should be quoted separately, at least 30 minutes apart. Eating cold drinks 30 minutes before and after meals will dilute gastric juice and reduce the activity of digestive enzymes, which is not conducive to the digestion and absorption of food, thus endangering human health. Xia Zhishi, drinking a little salty boiled water before meals can not only supplement the salt and water your body needs, but also avoid cold food and drinks. (transferred from: Health Bank)
