Is the left shoulder often painful bone cancer?
Don't scare yourself, it may be scapulohumeral periarthritis.

Shoulder periarthritis is also called scapulohumeral periarthritis, commonly known as coagulation shoulder and fifty shoulders. Chronic specific inflammation of the shoulder joint capsule and its surrounding ligaments, tendons and synovial bursa is characterized by gradual pain in the shoulder, especially at night, the movement of the shoulder joint is limited and gradually increased, and gradually relieved after reaching a certain level, and finally fully recovered. Periarthritis of shoulder is a common disease with shoulder pain and mobility difficulties as the main symptoms.

The cause of disease

1, shoulder reason

(1) This disease mostly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people over 40 years old, with soft tissue degeneration and weakened tolerance to various external forces.

(2) Chronic injury caused by long-term excessive activity and poor posture;

(3) After upper limb trauma, the shoulder was fixed for too long, and the tissues around the shoulder atrophied and adhered.

(4) Improper treatment of acute contusion and strain of shoulder.

2. External factors

Cervical spondylosis, shoulder pain caused by diseases of heart, lung and biliary tract, is caused by persistent spasm and ischemia of shoulder muscles due to long-term unhealed primary disease, which forms inflammatory lesions and turns into real scapulohumeral periarthritis.

Treatment:

At present, scapulohumeral periarthritis is mainly treated conservatively. Oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, physical therapy, local blocking of pain points, massage, self-massage and other comprehensive therapies. At the same time, joint function exercises are carried out, including active and passive abduction, rotation, flexion and extension and circular motion. When the shoulder pain is obviously relieved and the joint is still stiff, it can be released manually under general anesthesia to restore the range of motion of the joint.

The steps and methods of self-massage are as follows:

1. Press the anterolateral shoulder joint of the affected side from top to bottom with the thumb or palm of the healthy side 1 ~ 2 minutes, and press it with the thumb for a moment at the local pain point.

2. Press and knead the parts behind the shoulder joint with the fingertips of the healthy hand for 2 ~ 4 minutes 1 ~ 2 minutes. If there is a local pain point in the process of pressing and kneading, you can also press it with your fingers for a moment.

3. Knead the upper arm muscle of the affected upper limb with the joint action of the healthy thumb and other fingers, and knead it to the shoulder from bottom to top. 1 ~ 2 minutes.

4. You can also massage with the above method in the case of functional positions such as abduction of the affected shoulder, and move the shoulder joint in all directions at the same time.

5. Finally, massage from top to bottom with your palm 1 ~ 2 minutes. For the parts that can't be massaged on the shoulder and back, it can be treated by tapping.

Self-massage can be carried out 1 time every day, and the effect will be better if it lasts 1 ~ 2 months.
