19 17, before he died, Qi Huangong burst into tears and blamed Chengfu Gongri: "Your eldest brother practiced boxing with his uncle, which was very hard. He has become famous. You open the door and I'll support you in the back. I have to go now. If there is a master to compete, you miss, and Yang Jiawei will be discredited. You didn't study hard, and Yang's husband was lost. Very unfilial. I am going to die! " Cheng Fuguong was shocked by this statement, his heart and lungs ached, he cried and kowtowed, and vowed to study hard.
After the death of the Duke of Hou Jian, the Duke of Cheng closed the door and practiced hard day and night. At this time, Cheng Fuguong was 34 years old. Hou Jian has a well-off student, who worships Cheng Fu, and takes 30 yuan as a resettlement fee every month. Cheng Fuguong hired a strong man as a "stake" in 6 yuan Ocean with a monthly salary. Boxing practitioners use wooden posts or stone tablets as targets to test their strength, which is called "piling". For example, to practice big tricks, Yang's elders should practice driving wooden stakes (Jiugong stakes) or stumps; Practice white wax stick and brush it repeatedly on the stump every day. However, the vegetation is ruthless, and only the living can jump, dodge and fight back. Trying to target people is to play a "living bet". The posture and footwork of pushing hands and Sanshou are in line with the norms in Taiji Gate. Martial masters from other sects will never make moves according to the specifications of Taiji Gate. Therefore, it is still necessary to play a "live pile". Under various irregular circumstances, any part of the body will be reinforced and released. Yang Tai Chi's strength can beat people far away, but there is no danger of internal injuries. A Bai La pole and a stake, accompanied by Cheng Fuguo, worked hard behind closed doors for six years, and repeatedly understood the internal skills and methods taught by Hou Gong. Finally, he is psychic at heart, and he can distribute human stakes 20 feet away at will.
Cheng Fuguong is not practical in his heart, because the crowd is not a martial artist after all. At that time, Mr. Wu lectured in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, and had many disciples. He was a highly respected Tai Chi master. Cheng Fuguong went to the Temple of Heaven to find Wu's proposal. Knowing that Chengfu had arrived, Wu hurried out of the teahouse to meet him: "Third Master, it's been a long time. What do you suggest? " Chengfu Gongri: "Nothing. We rub our hands. " As soon as the two joined hands, Cheng Fuguong entered the circle with the back of his hand against Wu's abdomen and gently lifted it up three times. Wu jumped three times. Yang Wu had the friendship of classmates and many disciples, so Cheng Fuguong stopped and made no efforts. Wu's softening technique is very good. In previous years, neither Cheng Fuguong nor Wu Pushou could stick Wu, let alone let him go. Now that Wu is about to get stuck, Cheng Fuguong knows that his kung fu has improved, and it is not what it used to be, so he can safely open the door and be an apprentice. At this time, Cheng Fuguong was 40 years old (1923).
There are many martial arts masters in Beijing. I heard that Master Yang reopened the mountain gate, and people came to ask for advice in an endless stream. When the official of Chengfu came to the door, the other party answered and left the room. Some people were even beaten two or three feet away by Cheng Fu Gong and fell at the gate of yangfu. Passers-by and onlookers were amazed. So he became famous. Only two people came to the door to compete with Cheng Fu Gong. One of them, Zhang Ce (1859- 1935), a native of Xianghe County, Hebei Province, is a famous expert in Tongbi Boxing, known as "the arm saint" and nicknamed "Zhang big braid". After the Revolution of 1911, Reng Zhang kept his braid. When fighting with someone, he shook his head and his braid flew to his opponent's eyes. The opponent was hit in the blink of an eye. The other is Sun Fuquan (186 1- 1932), a famous figure with both form and meaning. Mr. Sun is thin and light, and has the reputation of "living monkey". After the contest between Lu Chan and Dong Haichuan, Jin Lan became a righteous man. After the game, Cheng Fuguong also became sworn brothers with Zhang Xiulin and Sun Lutang. These three men were the top martial arts figures in Beijing at that time. Some people have learned a set of Taijiquan health boxing frame, thinking that they can become famous as long as they practice hard. This is a misunderstanding. The Yang family has a rigorous training method. Vertical piles must be combined with internal method and can be divided into rodless piles, virtual piles and independent piles. When piling, we must try various methods of pressing, squeezing, leaning and elbow on the elastic trunk, and brush the trunk repeatedly with Bai La pole. Cheng Fugong's pile foundation is excellent, and the golden rooster is as steady as Mount Tai, which can't be pushed down. All my disciples and I visited the French Park (now called Fuxing Park) in Shanghai. The trunk of the French phoenix tree in the park is thick, it is in late autumn, and the leaves are yellow. Cheng Fuguong exerted a tilting force on the trunk, and the dead leaves fell one after another, which made the viewer dumbfounded. Cheng Fu works hard at living piles, and he can knock people out from any part of his body. Master Jinghua once went out for morning tea with Cheng Fuguo. A big man came up on the road and passed by Cheng Fu Gong. Cheng Fugong only felt that his thigh was touching the man, who had fallen out of sight.
When Chengfu publicly pushed hands, he did not use tangible grasping methods, but used spiritual invisibility. He grabbed each other's strength and let him fly out with a loud cry. He is so strong that he can hit people far away that no one can beat him. Cheng Fuguong makes good use of the strength in his abdomen, and the strength will certainly make a noise, but he may not casually say "good" or "go" with the word "hum and haw", and his opponent will be thrown out. Although Cheng Fuguong is obese, his posture and gait change rapidly. On one occasion, Cheng Fugong and Chen Weiming Shi Bo were pushing hands upstairs. Cheng Fugong suddenly became energetic. He realized that Shi Bo flew to the window like an arrow, and all his disciples were shocked. I saw Cheng Fugong step forward, grabbed Uncle Wei's ankle and shouted, "Come back!" Uncle stood firm and stood at the window, pale with fear. Uncle Wei Ming said, "The teacher's hands are too heavy for the students. Can you hit them gently? " Cheng Fuguong held out two forefingers and stuck them on Wei Ming's wrist and elbow respectively. Cheng Fuguong's fingers sank, and Uncle Wei Ming jumped back. Cheng Fugong and Zhen Shimingbo performed as promoters in Shanghai Baxianqiao Youth Association. Zhen shimingbo suddenly pressed hard, and Cheng Fugong took his right arm, clapped his left hand on the palm of his right hand and shouted, "Look for a fight!" Zhenming's teacher fell from the sky. Jing Huashi and Zhang Yu stood 2 feet away and held out their arms to protect them. Zhen Mingbo fell on Jing Huashi and Zhang Yu, and the three of them fell on the carpet together.
When Cheng Fugong was the dean of the martial arts museum in Hangzhou, a Shaolin boxer hid behind the corner of the corridor and suddenly jumped on Cheng Fugong. In the cold winter, Cheng Fuguong put his hands together in the long sleeves of his cotton robe, and his arms gently greeted him in the sleeves of his robe and gave him away. The boxer fell out of the house and kowtowed to apologize.
Cheng Fuguong is good at using swords. Yang Jiazang's Longquan sword is often "half-open", that is, the blade does not open, the tip is open, and it is extremely sharp, which can cut copper coins. Cheng Fuguong's swordsmanship is exquisite, and he doesn't want to hurt anyone in the competition. He used a bamboo sword to touch people's wrists and veins, so that opponents could get rid of his weapons. Zhang Xiulin's saber and marksmanship have a long reputation, and the handle used is as thick as a child's arm. Generally, martial artists shake Baila Village by squeezing from above and picking from below. Zhang Xiulin put his arms around the big pole and swung it around with the strength of his waist. No one dared to do that. Closed-door discussion technology of bow stretching and bow forming. Zhang Gong shared a big pole, and Cheng Fu shared a bamboo sword. Zhang used his marksmanship to push his way across the river. Cheng Fuguong shouted: "Big Brother, stand firm!" Flash forward, the sword will follow you, hit Zhang Gong's wrist, and the gun shaft will fall to the ground. Cheng Fuguong said to himself, "Big Brother is old and his skill is a little slow, otherwise it will be difficult to get close." Jing and Cheng Fugong face swords, and their wrists are often hit by swords. Master Jinghua, a Taoist priest in Chengfu, hung several pomelo skins (commonly known as "Wendan" in Shanghai) at different heights and angles under the roof beam, so that Master Jinghua could walk back and forth with a sword in his hand and stare at any pomelo skin, and he could pierce the pomelo skin immediately. After training to play one hundred strokes, change the pomelo peel into oranges, and finally change it into kumquat the size of copper coins. If you can still hit a hundred shots, it's as easy as finding something. In addition to single practice, we should also practice sticking and scattering swords. The training process is very long, and it is by no means an overnight achievement.
The Yang family is famous for Tai Chi guns. Because Ban Hou was impetuous and energetic, his mother ordered him to take off the spear head in order not to hurt others, so as to help the Yang family practice guns with a stick without a spear head. The steel gun used to fight the enemy after work weighed 37 Jin, but it broke when the public practiced shaking the gun after work. How powerful and amazing it is! Chengfu shared a Bai La shoulder pole as thick as a teacup. When practicing Tai Chi and sticking a gun to your opponent, the two sticks are very tight. When you come back, there is no sound. Just as Chengfu had a fierce drink, his opponent fell from the air. Wu Huichuan, a disciple of Cheng Fugong, is a tall man of 200 Jin. Master Jinghua once watched Fu Gong and Master Huichuan practice sticking guns. When the gun was handed in, Cheng Fugong made a noise. When Wu Shibo vacated, he was still 3 feet away and fell out of the courtyard, smashing the wicker fence that separated the hall courtyard. When Wu Shibo fell to the ground, the gun was still loose.
When I was a child, I listened to Jinghua's marksmanship of Cheng Fuguong, and I secretly thought that mortals would never have such divine power. The old teacher must have exaggerated. In 1980s, I met Mr. Jiang Changfeng, the master of Wu Quanjian, in Shanghai Aixing Park. According to Mr. Jiang, Cheng Fugong and Wu Huichuan performed Tai Chi gun sticking. Throw Wu a few feet away with a big drink. After the death of Cheng Fuguong, I have never seen this stunt again. Wu Nan is good at softening, and no one has such fierce strength. Mr. Wang is not a believer, and he has no flattery to Yang's referendum. So I believe what Shi Jing said at that time was true. Cheng Fuguong's marksmanship is not only famous in Taiji Gate, but also appreciated by boxers from other schools. The famous checkers Yang and Ma Jinbiao's original "Twelve Clubs" absorbed Cheng Fuguong's techniques of sticking and scattering guns.
Although Cheng Fuguong inherited Yang's boxing, sword, knife, gun, big move, Sanshou, knife alignment, sword sticking, gun sticking and internal skill, his skills were superior, but because he didn't study hard enough when he was young, his slingshot hidden weapons and acupoints were not inherited, and he was still inferior to those after work and after construction. Confucius said, "Clever words make the color bright, and fortitude is plain and close to benevolence." Cheng Fuguong is simple and honest, and he is not good at words. When he punches, he only demonstrates his posture and never says much. Cheng Fuguong never discussed the advantages and disadvantages of other sects in his life, and repeatedly warned his disciples not to discuss the shortcomings of other sects. If someone says that someone can't do kung fu, Cheng Fu said, "It's not easy to practice kung fu, and it's rare to practice it to this point." This is empty talk.
Yang's family has a tradition of "seeing red with his hands", but he used long strength to shoot his opponent ten feet away, instead of hurting his internal organs with cold strength. Yang's ancestors were teaching boxing, and the prince had to learn how to push hands. Duke Lu Chan had to kneel and kowtow to show his respect. He declared that Yang's pusher must push hard, and the person who was sent must fall far away, but there is no danger of internal injury. Cheng Fuguong is full of strength in his heart, and sometimes it is inevitable that he will hurt people unintentionally. Once, Cheng Fuguong compared swords with others in Wuhan, using a bamboo sword to point people's wrists. Unexpectedly, the other side's sword fell and his arm was broken, and Cheng Fuguong regretted it. Therefore, Cheng Fuguong often put his hands in his robe sleeves and refused to make a move easily. This is the virtue of hands.
Cheng Fuguong has great respect for other sects. 1928, Zhang Zhijiang, curator of the Nanjing Central Martial Arts School, hired Cheng Fuguong as the head of Taiji Gate and invited Cheng Fuguong to take several great-grandfathers as professors. Due to the large number of disciples in Beijing Boxing Hall, Duke Cheng Fu was unable to make a trip at the moment, because various affairs needed to be properly arranged. Li, deputy curator, saw that Mr. Cheng Fuguong did not take office for a long time, so he asked Mr. Sun Lutang to act as curator. Mr. Sun didn't know that Mr. Zhang hired Mr. Cheng Fu, so he changed the Taiji Gate to Wudang Gate, which was composed of Xingyiquan, Bagua Palm and Taiji, and his disciple was a professor. Without knowing it, Cheng Fu Gong came to Nanjing with his disciples, and Zhang Zhijiang gave a banquet to welcome Cheng Fu Gong. After three glasses of wine, Zhang Zhijiang said, "There can't be two Wudang masters in the martial arts school. Can you ask Mr. Yang to compete with Mr. Sun? The winner stays and the loser goes. " Cheng Fuguong said frankly: "Brother Sun is my righteous brother and should be the janitor. There is no need to compete. However, there is no vacancy in the professorship, and all the disciples have nowhere to be placed. Yang will leave soon, and I am still praying for curator Zhang to forgive me. " Afterwards, Cheng Fuguong said to his disciples, "Brother Sun and I are like brothers. It is only natural that we should discuss things behind closed doors. How can we compete openly for petty profits? How dare Mr. Zhang! " After Cheng Fu Gong arrived in Shanghai, Zhang Zhijiang knew that he was indefensible, so he recommended Cheng Fu Gong as the provost of Zhejiang Wushu Museum. When Mr. Sun Lutang learned of this incident, he recommended Professor Xingyiquan Gao Zhendong as the acting curator of Wudang Gate of the Central Martial Arts School and went to Jiangsu Martial Arts School as the provost, indicating that he was on an equal footing with Cheng Fuguong. This shows the integrity of the two predecessors.
When Cheng Fuguo arrived in Shanghai, Wu had taught boxing in the sports meeting and brought gifts such as ham, bird's nest, shark's fin and famous wine to welcome Cheng Fuguo. Mr. Wu said, "How are you, Third Master? My father and son, the Wu family, studied boxing in the Yang family, and have made a living from boxing so far. Yang's kindness is unforgettable. " Chengfu Gongri: "Yang Wu is a family, how can we share it? Don't worry, I will never take in the students you have taught. " Later, Cheng taught boxing in Shanghai. For example, some disciples of the Wu family wanted to switch to the Yang family to learn boxing, but Cheng Wanyan refused, explaining that Yang and Wu had slightly different boxing styles, and boxing and boxing came down in one continuous line. Disciples Tian and Sun Lutang were personally recommended by their master to study Tai Ji Chuan, otherwise Chengfu would not be accepted. Therefore, Cheng Fuguong and famous schools at home and abroad can unite, be friendly and live in harmony. Cheng Fuguong's martial arts are lofty and touching. 1936, when Cheng Fuguong was at the height of his martial arts, he even gave up his life and returned to the west at the age of 53. So it caused a lot of speculation and different opinions.
Some people think that Cheng Fugong is overexerting and wasting internal qi. Jinghua Teachers' Day: "Never mind! Yang Jiazhi's elastic point is extremely easy and ingenious, and there is no need for brute force at all. Duke Lu Chan and Duke Lu are vigorous and vigorous, and they are both people with long life. I am over 80 years old, and it is no sweat to find someone outside. "
Others say that this is the reason for lust for women. Teacher's Day in Jinghua: "Mr. Cheng Fuguong is a loyal elder with a unique physique and deep feelings for his wife and husband." After Cheng Fu Gong came to Shanghai, a rich lady and a young lady learned boxing. Cheng Fu Gong shaved his beard and kept their distance. I am a disciple of the Yang family. I have been following adult Chengfu until I know that the teacher is honest as jade. Never listen to the gossip of street people! "
Master Jinghua is proficient in Chinese and Western medicine, and thinks that Cheng Fuguong died unfortunately because of improper diet. When I was a young adult, I shook the pole about 200 times. You must brush the pole on the stump 200 times. The stakes should stand on three incense sticks. It's hard to practice boxing and eat a lot. Every meal needs to eat 30 steamed buns from Gaozhuang, 1 pig's trotters and 0 poultry. When Master Essence first arrived in Yangjia, he was surprised to find that Chengfu was wolfing down his food, just like Song Wu, the tiger general in Water Margin. It is not surprising that it has been commonplace for a long time. After Cheng Fuguong became famous, he stopped practicing hard and had nowhere to burn calories, but his food intake did not decrease at all, and his weight increased to 288 kg. Moreover, he likes eating meat, but doesn't like vegetarianism. His cholesterol and blood lipid must be high. Cheng Fuguong's edema is not nephropathy, but heart disease, which is the result of long-term hyperlipidemia. As the ancients said, illness comes from the mouth. This is a wise saying!
Chen Tianshen, a 90-year-old Wulin elder in Hangzhou, revealed: Why did Yang Chengfu's sketch III die so early? "Rich historical and cultural resources are sometimes not only reflected in visible places." Chen Tianshen, a 90-year-old martial arts veteran who served as deputy secretary-general of Hangzhou Wushu Association in the 1980s, recalled the dusty history of Zhejiang Wushu Museum more than 70 years ago. During the period of 1929, an unprecedented national Wushu competition was held during the West Expo. Yang Chengfu, a master of Yang-style Tai Ji Chuan, Xiao Pin, a master of Nanquan, and other three-level Wushu masters gathered in Hang Cheng. In the 7-day competition, there were 109 martial arts masters with stunts on the stage, countless audiences and many foreign boxers, but no one dared to go on stage to fight. After the West Expo, the signboard of "Zhejiang Kungfu Hall" hung on the gate of the only newly-built exhibition hall of the West Expo. Su Jingyu, Yang Chengfu, Liu Baichuan and Xiao Pin. , as a teacher of Zhejiang Wushu Museum. 1930, Zhejiang martial arts museum enrolled normal students, and Chen Tianshen, who was only 15 years old, became the first student. 193 1 At eight o'clock in the morning, Xiao Pinsan taught Chen Tianshen and others to beat black tiger boxing in the museum. To practice black tiger boxing is to make a sound and kick. Every time a famous teacher with profound skills kicks, he will leave a footprint on the concrete floor. "At that time, more than 30 students suggested that Mr. Xiao shine. Teacher Xiao told us to move the brick and spread it on the concrete floor, and put a thick slate on the brick. Then, Miss Xiao hit black tiger boxing on the bluestone board. I saw him shout a few times, and with a hard foot, the bluestone slabs and bricks below were all broken into pieces ... "Chen Tianshen said. Such profound skills naturally attracted students to applaud loudly. I didn't want to, but the applause alarmed Yang Chengfu, who was still sleeping. Yang Chengfu was the dean of the martial arts school at that time and had the habit of getting up late. He put on his clothes and went out to ask loudly, "What's the matter, so noisy?" Xiao Pinsan replied: "I am teaching students to practice black tiger boxing." Yang Chengfu said, "What's the use of this kind of thing!" This sentence annoyed Xiao Pinsan, who immediately offered to compete with Yang. Yang Chengfu said, "OK, just punch me three times in the stomach." Xiao hired Sany to punch Yang Chengfu in the stomach. Chen Tianshen and others saw the pain on Yang Chengfu's face. Chen Tianshen went on to say, "After Xiao hired three dozen punches, we all seemed to smell the blood in Yang Chengfu's mouth. After Xiao Pinsan hit the third punch, Yang Chengfu clutched his stomach with his right hand and flew out with his left hand, hitting Xiao Pinsan's heart. Sketch 3 suddenly fell 2 meters away and vomited blood. " The result of the dispute between Yang and Xiao was mutual loss. Not only did they stop teaching martial arts, but Xiao Pinsan died in 1933 and Yang Chengfu died in 1936. Two famous teachers with superb martial arts died prematurely for such a trivial matter. After an argument between Yang and Xiao, the then deputy director of Zhejiang Wushu Museum asked the students to keep a secret. In this way, a 70-year-old historical regret has been sealed to this day. Chen Tianshen said: "More than 70 years have passed, and all the teachers in the martial arts school have passed away. Among the 38 students at that time, I was the youngest' kid'. Today, I am a' child' in my nineties. For so many years, this matter has been lingering in my mind. The lesson it taught us is really profound! " Cover the enemy from the front, from the middle and lower part of my left side, and hit with my hands or feet. I will settle down and temporarily send my strength to my right leg. The left foot will be lifted, one step forward, and the right foot will be straightened. My left hand will turn to my right chest at the same time, and I will hold the enemy's hand or foot away. Hang down your right hand at the same time, turn your back from the right side to your ear, open your palm, palm forward, sink your shoulders and bend your elbows.
