How to feed lactating sows after delivery?
Strengthening the management of nursing sows is of great significance for improving the survival rate and weaning litter weight of piglets, maintaining suitable fattening conditions for sows and laying a solid foundation for future reproduction.

(1) During lactation, the diet composition of sows should be relatively stable, and it should not be changed suddenly, so as not to change the milk composition too much.

(2) Keep the enclosed environment quiet, warm and comfortable, with plenty of sunshine and fresh air. 3 ~ 5 days after delivery, when the weather is fine, let sows and piglets go outdoors for proper exercise.

(3) Pay close attention to the condition of sows' breasts, and scrub the breasts with 40℃ warm water for a few days after delivery, which is better for primiparous sows. Piglets should be trained to get into the habit of fixing nipples as soon as possible, and the sows' breasts and nipples should be checked frequently to avoid breast injury and mastitis. Once it happens, it should be treated in time. Train sows to form the habit of lying on both sides alternately, which is convenient for piglets to suck milk.

(4) Prevent diseases such as indigestion, constipation, diarrhea and colds. Once the sow gets sick, it should be treated in time. Otherwise, it will not only directly affect the lactation of sows, but also change the composition of milk, which is easy to cause indigestion or diarrhea in piglets. It is not advisable to feed moldy and deteriorated feed during lactation. For postpartum sows with no milk or insufficient milk, corresponding measures such as artificial lactation should be taken quickly to improve the lactation ability of sows. Weaning in time to prepare for the next estrus mating.
