Wang Shizhen: Born on the fifth day of November in the fifth year of Jiajing, he died on November 27th in the eighteenth year of Wanli. Born in Taicang, Suzhou, South Zhili, he was a writer and historian in Ming Dynasty.

Jiajing twenty-six years (1547), Jinshi. He has served as the left temple of Dali Temple, Yuan Wailang and Langzhong of the Ministry of Punishment, the deputy envoy of Qingzhou soldiers in Shandong, the deputy envoy of Zhejiang participating in politics, and the procurator of Shanxi Province.
