The source of sweat steam can be traced back to 14 18 to 1494, when the Japanese invaded Tsushima Island. According to records, in June of 12, the war was urgent, and Emperor Taizong Li Fangyuan and Ling Zhongning personally led 527 warships and 57,285 loyal subjects to surround it. Just as the Korean army fought bravely and was about to win, a typhoon blew, and in an instant, all the warships were fragmented. All the soldiers died in the sea. King Sejong was rescued by a dolphin, escorted to the beach and met a kiln worker before he survived. However, after such fierce fighting, he was overtired and caught a cold, so he couldn't lie down. The kiln worker invited a famous doctor, but he failed to cure Sejong's chronic disease. Because of the limited capacity, it had to be placed in a brick kiln just out of the kiln, and this brick kiln was the predecessor of steaming (steaming room). Three days later, King Sejong miraculously survived and returned to the court. In court, he remembered this experience and ordered craftsmen to build a brick kiln for doctors to try and cure. Sure enough, the treatment is simple, comfortable and magical. Since then, it has been used for the health of the Korean royal family. After King Sejong ascended the throne, it was also allowed to be used by the people. Later, sweat steam therapy was slowly introduced to the people and used by the people.
In this way, steaming has become a well-known health care method in Korea, and it is gradually known to the whole world.
