Xue Yongdong, a descendant of the Imperial Physician of the Five Dynasties in Qing Dynasty, benefited the people with his court medical skills.

Intrauterine medical treatment has its uniqueness, that is, most of the diseases seen are damp-heat, with symptoms of excessive fatigue and liver depression, and patients have the needs of health preservation, longevity and beauty care. Therefore, prescription drugs are simple and refined, and the amount is small and peaceful. Director Xue Yongdong believes that this is related to the arrogance of princes and nobles and their fatness. Nowadays, the living standards of China residents have generally improved and their living habits have changed greatly. Many ordinary people have many similarities with the princes and nobles of that year, and damp-heat syndrome has increased. This is precisely a good opportunity for the court medical skills to be carried forward among the people. Professor Xue Yongdong admits that the precious wealth left by his father is a big box of prescriptions, from which we can get a glimpse of the clinical thoughts of our ancestors. Dampness and heat are mainly caused by dermatology, andrology and internal medicine. Palace medical skills should conform to the needs of the times and the people, inherit and carry forward, and benefit the public. Professor Xue Yongdong is familiar with the essence of heirloom in clinic, and the compatibility of herbs and flavors is properly refined, which is closely related to the medical skills of heirloom.

Eight generations of Chinese medicine families, five generations of Qing imperial doctors.

His eighth great-grandfather was Xue Xue Xue, a famous febrile disease scientist in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. The book Dampness and Heat has been handed down from generation to generation, which has made great contributions to the study of epidemic febrile diseases. The seventh great-grandfather Xue Meiyuan was also a famous doctor in Qianlong Dynasty. When he was in his 80 s, he went to Yizhou to treat the chronic disease of Emperor Qianlong, which was very famous at that time. Xue Yincha, the sixth great-grandfather of Xue Yincha, followed his father for many years and won the trust of the people. Xue Baotian, the fifth great-grandfather, was a famous doctor in Qing Dynasty. Xue Baotian was appointed as the instructor of Shangyuan County by Ming Jing, and changed to Yunyin at the age of 46. He entered the palace in 1880 to treat Cixi. He was on duty for 44 days, felt the pulse 15 times for Cixi, and prescribed more than 20 prescriptions, creating the "eight treasures cake" (a national intangible cultural heritage) for nourishing the stomach and tonifying the kidney. He is the author of Prevention of Diseases, Diary of Going North, Medical Comprehension and Lotus Root Collection. Xue Baotian passed Xue, Xue passed Xue, Xue passed Xue Shichang, and Xue Shichang passed Xue Yongdong. Judging from Xue Baotian, who was in charge of the imperial doctors in the Qing Dynasty, Professor Xue Yongdong was a real family of eight generations of Chinese medicine, and the fifth generation of the imperial doctors in the Qing Dynasty.
