Six years after graduation, how did I transform from a writer to a practitioner of Chinese medicine?
1, a professional choice for rural children

I majored in radio and television editing and directing in college, which was my first choice for the college entrance examination. One of the reasons why I study this major is that I have achieved good results in Chinese since I was a child. From primary school to high school, my composition is often an example for teachers to read aloud in class. Another reason is that I especially like TV, reading books and performing since I was a child. When I was a child, I liked to perform in front of adults. In junior high school, I won the first place in the school reading contest.

Well, you read it right. That's all I knew about TV at that time. I think what I like is one of the qualities that TV practitioners should have. So when I volunteered for the college entrance examination, I did not hesitate to apply for the radio and television director major.

However, I didn't know what a radio and television director was like until I went to college. For a child who goes to school in the countryside, he knows nothing but reading and taking exams. But this major requires us to learn various artistic disciplines: photography, video, sketch, script, editing, 3D animation, photoshop and so on. Seeing that the girls in many cities in my class are versatile, beautiful and confident, my original inferiority complex was stimulated to the extreme in college.

Therefore, my college time was spent in classes, working, going to the library, constantly being true to myself and embarrassing myself. How hard is it? I always try to overcome all my shortcomings.

Not talkative? I forced myself to participate in the activities organized by the community, but I got cold feet several times when I came to power. Finally, I chose to go to a clothing store as a part-time shopping guide, only to slowly overcome the problem of blushing and nervous when talking to strangers.

Not confident enough? Just try to torment yourself. Slowly learned to wear less rustic clothes; Work hard on professional courses; Read all kinds of books to enrich yourself; Do all kinds of part-time jobs to increase your knowledge ...

However, it was at that time that I understood the phrase "losing at the starting line". No matter how hard I try, I can't compare with other students' innate cheerful and confident temperament, all kinds of talents at my fingertips, well-informed horizons, understanding and achievements in professional courses.

The sense of depression and frustration that you obviously work hard but lag far behind others often affects my mood. In this way, I spent four years in college in various negative emotions such as entanglement, anxiety, confusion and inferiority. Although I think about it now, I have made a lot of progress compared with myself before I went to college, but at that time I was still in an extremely confident state until I graduated.

2. From writer to practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine

After graduating from college, I stayed in Jinan, the city where the university is located, to find a job. From clerk, to director, to planning, although stumbling, I have basically been doing my own good writing work. I still have a sense of crisis, afraid that I will be eliminated by the company and society. Therefore, at work, whenever I encounter something I can't learn, I always try to learn.

In my first job as a clerk, I learned the basic administrative work of the office, and I also tasted the taste of being exploited by a horrible boss for the first time. My second job was as a real estate program director, and I learned to write special topics, interview and edit, and my knowledge also increased a lot. In my third job as a planner, I learned to deal with many people and dare to speak in front of many people. My writing ability, activity organization ability and other skills have been greatly improved. However, in those years, I was still in constant anxiety, because I always felt that my work was too substitutable and I couldn't do my best, but I could do nothing but write.

So, why did I finally get involved with Chinese medicine?

This has to start with the birth of my daughter. /kloc-at the end of 0/3, after giving birth to her daughter, she got postpartum dry eye for various reasons. The pain of this disease can hardly be expressed in words. I wrote in the article "Pure dry goods for friends with eye diseases such as dry eye". Western medicine has no good treatment for dry eye. Later, there was no way to seek medical treatment. I choose to treat myself. Finally, I combined physical therapy with exercise and diet to cure my dry eye. This is an opportunity for me to embark on the road of Chinese medicine.

From this incident, I became interested in the subject of Chinese medicine. Later, by chance, I went to a Chinese medicine training school to enroll students. In fact, I also know that for me, who has never been a salesman, I still want to stay in this school to learn more about Chinese medicine because of the great pressure of enrollment.

Facts have proved that my choice is correct, and I have indeed learned a lot of Chinese medicine knowledge that I never thought about before. During that time, I was like a very dry sponge and absorbed a lot of knowledge. I can feel my growth, and I can feel that my previous anxiety is gradually replaced by a sense of fullness. The pleasant feeling of learning Chinese medicine makes me feel as if I have found something I can like for a lifetime.

After staying in the training school for half a year, I learned all kinds of Chinese medicine skills and saw the magical curative effect of Chinese medicine in clinical treatment. The first time I went to a family to give a baby with a cold a massage, I received 100 yuan in cash when I left, and I was very excited. It occurred to me for the first time that I could have other skills to make money besides writing.

Now, I have been engaged in Chinese medicine for half a year. During the contact with many customers, there are babies with cold, fever and diarrhea; There is a novice mother, who got the moon disease after giving birth; There are elderly people suffering from chronic diseases all the year round; There are sub-healthy young people, all kinds of physical discomfort. And my own family also tasted the sweetness after I studied Chinese medicine.

I like the feeling that with my efforts, the patient's pain is gradually relieved and even cured. Later, I also began to try to give lectures in Chinese medicine training schools and give health lectures at some activities. It seems that the anxiety and inferiority that have plagued me for many years have slowly disappeared. And the experience and ability I have accumulated in my previous work have also been properly brought into play.

3. Keep learning for fear of being eliminated by society.

I am a child from the countryside. I was taught by my parents from an early age to study hard and change my destiny in the future. The sense of crisis is branded in my bones. So, sometimes, I feel like those children who lack love. I keep trying to learn from others' love. The difference is that I try my best to learn the skills of survival. I'm afraid I have no money, I'm afraid I can't find a job, I'm afraid I won't be eliminated by this society. So I always try to make my skills more, which gives me another chance to make money.

But I also know that if you want to make money by yourself, you must be meticulous. If a person knows a little about everything but is not proficient in anything, then why should he be recognized by others and why should others pay for his skills and services? Everything can only be achieved if it is done to the extreme.

For me, one foot has stepped into the threshold of 30 years old, if I spend a lot of time looking for myself and my favorite industry in recent years. Then in the days after thirty, I will spend my time polishing myself seriously. I will focus on improving my writing and Chinese medicine skills. In my opinion, these two things, just one thing, are enough for a person to study and engage in life. Moreover, the artificial intelligence substitution of these two industries is not very strong, and it is not achieved overnight. There is no need to be afraid of unemployment or being eliminated soon.

This is my experience from copywriting to Chinese medicine. Over the past six years, I have stumbled and experienced many things, from a white girl in the workplace to a mature woman with certain skills who can manage herself and her family in an orderly way. In my opinion, everything a person has experienced is not in vain. These experiences are constantly accumulated and superimposed, and finally constitute a person's temperament and comprehensive ability, and become the most precious wealth for a person's future development.
