How to breed oysters
First, bamboo cultivation

1. This is a common cultivation method at present, which is to insert bamboo into the seabed for cultivation. First, the bamboo should be treated, and then every six bamboos are piled up, and the whole bamboo is buckled on the sea mud in a funnel shape.

2. The length of bamboo should be controlled at around 1.5m, and the diameter should be above 10cm. The place contacting with sea mud needs to be surrounded by ropes for reinforcement, which is generally suitable for seabed culture with more soft mud and slower seawater flow.

Second, longline fishing culture.

1, which is a convenient way to breed. The materials are ropes and floating objects, which are generally suitable for breeding in relatively open sea areas. Longline fishing has a high degree of resistance to wind and waves, and is also suitable for breeding in the open sea.

2. Both ends of the rope need to be fixed deep in the seabed, and the middle can be used to cultivate oysters. The suitable width in the middle is 40-50m. According to the sea depth of the selected address, a rope and floating objects are generally placed every 2 meters, and the length of the rope is about 3-5 meters. It is necessary to check frequently whether the ropes are intertwined.

Third, column culture.

1, the cement column used in aquaculture has the advantages of low cost, good adhesion effect, heavy weight and not easy to be impacted by seawater. The surface of the selected cement column is as rough as possible, with a height of about 2m and a diameter of 30cm. This kind of column will give oysters a strong adsorption force.

2. Before the cement column is put into the seabed, it needs to be placed on the muddy ground for a period of time. This method is called columnar culture, which can provide good nutrition for newborn oysters. Column cultivation requires regular inspection, and if it falls, it should be righted in time. Cement column culture is suitable for the seabed with fast velocity.

Fourth, the floating raft culture

1. Raft culture materials are tied together with wood and bamboo, and then floated on the sea surface with buoys. The suitable size of the raft is about 5×8 meters. Excessive size will affect the overall quality and output of oysters, and too small size will cost more.

2. Generally, it can be fixed in the depths of the seabed with a rope to avoid drifting with the waves, or it can be connected at both ends with a rope in case the rope on the seabed is broken and cannot be found. The distance between the two rafts is about 20m, so you can generally choose to breed in calm shallow water.
