Yalu river 1
Originally the inland river of China, the Yalu River is now the boundary river between China and North Korea. The Korean islands in the middle of the river, such as Satin Island and Sala Island, border the land of China. At present, the estuary is used by both sides.
Yalu River originated in the southern foot of Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province, and its upstream was formerly called Jianchuangou. At the source stage, it flows south, then northwest through Changbai Korean Autonomous County, and then southwest through Linjiang City.
2. Jinjiang Mountain Park
The scenic Jinjiang Mountain Park is the largest comprehensive park in Dandong, which is located on the south slope of Jinjiang Mountain in the north of the city and 1.8km away from the Yalu River in the south. Jinjiang Mountain Park is covered with trees and flowers, and one mountain is the best in the world. Known as "the first of the eight scenic spots in Northeast China".
Jinjiang Pavilion, the highest point of the park, has always been an ideal place for Dandong tourists to board ships. Looking from the railing, the Yalu River is like a belt and the mountains are like a screen. The scenery of China and North Korea is unobstructed.
3. Hushan Great Wall
Hushan Great Wall is located on the Yalu River15km east of Dandong. It is an important scenic spot in the Yalu River National Scenic Area. It faces North Korea's Yuchi Island and the ancient city Yizhou across the river. This is an excellent tourist attraction.
In the Ming Dynasty, the Great Wall of Wan Li lay like a dragon on the mountain. Binjiang road at the foot of the mountain is connected with the 20 1 national highway, and the mountain platform along the river is the eastern starting point of the Great Wall of Wan Li. There are ruins of Anping County, a city in the Han Dynasty, the Sino-Japanese battlefield in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 and the Japanese-Russian battlefield near Hushan. Hushan covers an area of four square kilometers, with the main peak at an altitude of 146.3 meters.
4. Memorial Hall to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea
The Memorial Hall to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea is located near Taoyuan Street, Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province. It is a tower-shaped building complex, located on Huaying Mountain in the north of the city center. This museum is the only special memorial hall in China that comprehensively reflects the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. The memorial hall was built in June1958+1October 65438. On July 27th, 1993, the new museum was completed and officially opened.
5. Yalu River Broken Bridge
The Yalu River Broken Bridge is located at the bank of Yalu River, Jiang 'an Road, Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China. This is the remains of the original Yalu River Bridge after it was bombed. The Yalu River Broken Bridge is the first of many bridges on the Yalu River. May starts 1909,1October finishes 19 1 1.
It was built by the Korean Governor's Office Railway Bureau in Japan at that time. In 2006, it was approved by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units and the only national protection unit in Dandong. 20 16 and 16 were selected into the national red tourist attractions list in February.
