The origin of Arbor Day.

Due to the evolution of the times, the Arbor Day in China has been revised three times. Sun Yat-sen was also the first person in modern China who strongly advocated afforestation. He personally drafted the political document "Li Shang Hongzhangshu", and proposed that China must "develop agriculture urgently and re-cultivate art" if it wants to be strong.
After the Revolution of 1911, in the fourth year of the Republic of China (19 15), at the initiative of Sun Yat-sen, Zhou Ziqi, director of the General Administration of Agriculture and Commerce, appointed Tomb-Sweeping Day as Arbor Day, designated the place and selected the tree species, and all levels of governments, institutions and schools in China attended as scheduled, held Arbor Day ceremonies and held tree planting activities. After it was approved on July 2 1 day of that year, the whole country was ordered to comply with it as scheduled.
