Cyanobacteria propagation method
There are two ways to reproduce cyanobacteria. One is vegetative propagation, which includes direct cell division (fission), population division and filamentous algae production fragments. The other is that some cyanobacteria can produce endospore or ectospores for asexual reproduction. Spores have no flagella. No real cyanobacteria have been found to reproduce sexually.
