In the 17th year of the Republic of China, Huangkeng was under the jurisdiction of Jianyang District 3 (Masha).

In 25 years, it was co-sponsored with Huangkeng and renamed Huangkeng Township in 30 years.

When People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded, it was still Huangkeng Township, and in 1954, Huangkeng District 7 was established.

1958, Huangkeng People's Commune.

1984, changed to huangkeng township.

1992, huang keng zhen is an organizational system. Administer 1 1 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committees, 1 town-run forest farms and 2 state-owned cutting and breeding farms.
