Chengde High-tech Zone consists of four districts. Chengde High-tech Zone was established with the approval of the provincial government in June 1992, and was upgraded to a national high-tech zone with the approval of the State Council in August/20 12. It is one of the five high-tech zones in Hebei province, located 5 kilometers south of Chengde city center. It is the intersection of Jingcheng, Shenjing and Chengchi expressway. Chengde has 4 districts and 8 counties, Shuangqiao District, Shuangluan District, Yingshouyingzi District, High-tech Zone Development Zone, Xinglong County, Longhua County, Chengde County, Luanping County, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County, Pingquan County, Pingquan County and Weichang Manchu Mongolian Autonomous County.
