Phyllostachys praecox belongs to Gramineae and Phyllostachys pubescens, which are distributed in China South China Cluster Bamboo Sub-region and south of China Mid-subtropical Mixed Bamboo Sub-region. Southeast Asia, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries are also distributed.
