But I always feel that I need to find some points to break through, and I need someone who knows to help me answer my questions, hoping to be more comprehensive, just like the second pulse of Ren Du in martial arts novels, perhaps it is a qualitative leap.
Qu Limin's Exquisite Lecture This book is such an opportunity. This book mainly talks about Su Wen's "ancient naivety" and "four temperaments of adjusting spirit".
My biggest feeling after reading the complete book is that Chinese medicine is not only to cure diseases and save lives, but also a profound philosophy of life. Simple collection of yin, yang, five elements and growth is the truth between the lines. A real Chinese medicine practitioner will inevitably grow into a person who is closer to the universe and has a real life, which is really enviable.
I like a passage in the book very much: Taoism naturally tells you not to compete, but to listen, see, shoot and feel with a quiet heart, and crossing your legs and breathing is only to improve your ability to see and shoot, which is not necessary for practice, because the purpose of practice is not to cross your legs, but to achieve enlightenment through watching and shooting.
Many people always like to find a guru, find a celebrity, and like something formalistic, but they don't know that we are all ignorant individuals in front of the universe and nature. The real core is not elsewhere, but between ourselves and everything in the universe.
There are many paragraphs in the book that bring me a lot of thoughts, including the truth of treating diseases and the philosophy of life, among which the biggest gain is the knowledge of wood, fire, earth and gold.
It turns out that liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney are not blindly corresponding to wood, fire, earth, water and gold. It turns out that life and gram complement each other. When I understand the truth, Chinese medicine seems a little higher, a little more lively, a little more cheerful, so I share this harvest with you who also like Chinese medicine.
The connotation of 1 five elements
It is mentioned in the book that Shangshu is the first book to discuss the five elements. It says, "The wood is straight, the water is moist, the fire is inflamed, the gold is leather, and the soil is fertile."
This is a bit obscure to read. In fact, the general principle is to tell us that wood, fire, soil and water are not only five substances, but also the properties and movement trends contained in these five substances. Through the properties of wood, fire, earth, gold and water, we can understand the operating rules of liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney. Tao is natural, and everything is not excessive, which is the greatest truth of life operation.
Specifically:
(1) The wood is straight, indicating rising, and the curve represents the strength of horizontal development. If there is no curve, if the wood grows too much, it will break easily.
Chinese medicine believes that the liver corresponds to wood, and the movement mode of the liver is "straight". If the hair grows blindly, it is "hyperactivity of liver yang", people will be dizzy and their eyes will be red. Therefore, the liver should not grow as fast as possible, but should be measured.
(2) When the water is wet, the water flows downwards and the temperature is wet. It is not water that moistens people, but the gas generated by water moistens people.
In Chinese medicine, water corresponds to the kidney, which is in the lower part of our body. If kidney water keeps going down, people are particularly prone to leg swelling and foot swelling, but the nature of life does not allow this morbid state. What changes this sickness is the warmth of water.
Another important manifestation of the rise of renal fluid is that "renal fluid is salivary". Modern people are thirsty, that is, they have lost the function of moistening the kidney, that is, the yang is insufficient and cold water cannot moisten them. Therefore, the disease of Sjogren's syndrome is not lack of water, but true yang deficiency. It is wrong to treat this disease blindly by nourishing yin. It is necessary to support the yang.
(3) A fire is said to get angry, that is, the kinetic energy of the fire goes up, and getting angry is the heat of the fire.
In traditional Chinese medicine, fire corresponds to the heart, and the nature of heart fire is rising, but if it keeps rising, life will be ruined. When the kidney water drops, the heart fire should shine on the kidney water to make the heart and kidney intersect.
If the heart and kidney do not intersect, it means that the heart has inflammation and the kidney has water. Inflammation of the heart can lead to red tongue, head swelling and dizziness; When the kidney is flooded, the legs and feet will swell and the human body will get seriously ill. At this time, if anti-inflammatory drugs are used, the heart fire will be extinguished and the kidney essence will be lost.
From this point of view, the fire in the right position is called righteousness, and the finger pointing everywhere is called evil. So, why did it leave the right position and become evil? Mainly other things occupy its position, such as cold evil, like pigeons occupying magpie's nest, magpie has to moan elsewhere.
Therefore, the way to cure evil spirits is not to kill life, nor to simply use cold medicine to put out the fire, but to lead the fire back to Yuan, expel the cold, lead the virtual fire and the evil fire back to their original positions, return the prodigal son to his original positions, and turn evil spirits into righteousness, which is the fundamental solution.
(4) Jin said that following revolution means that one person follows another, and revolution means change. Therefore, gold has two opposite characteristics, that is, killing or protecting, just as metal weapons can protect themselves against external evils.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that gold corresponds to the lungs, and the lungs control the fur, which is a kind of protection for life and yang. And the lung governs the descent, that is, the cold of the lung.
(5) Farming is planting, and harvesting is harvesting. You reap what you sow, and you reap what you sow. This is Tudor's creation and regeneration.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the spleen corresponds to soil, that is, as long as you eat it, it will turn into essence, nourish and protect your life.
2 Ke Sheng's Five Elements
Wood fires, fire produces soil, native gold, gold produces water, aquatic wood; Mu, Tuk Shui, Shui, Huo, Jin Kemu.
Many people may recite the five elements above, but what is life and what is gram are not memorized.
The book says: Life is what makes your life grow. The living is the mother and the living is the child. Mothers should dissipate energy for their children. Dick is what protects your life.
For a simple example, everyone is talking about tonifying the kidney, but we should know that lung gold is the mother of kidney water (golden water), so if we want to have a strong kidney, we should not only work hard on the kidney, but also know how to strengthen the lung and make the mother strong and the child fat.
At the same time, local gold and strong lungs should start from the spleen and stomach, and the spleen and stomach are full of blood, and the lungs will be energetic. Moreover, the soil of the spleen is stronger, which enhances the protection of the kidney and also consolidates the kidney essence.
The core of the five elements lies in the golden mean. Too much to hold back, too little to lift, only just right, is the best state of life.
The book also gives an example of heart disease, saying: Westerners have discovered a secret. Anyone with heart disease will have gum problems first. They don't know the reason, but from the perspective of Chinese medicine, fire is born, that is, the heart is the mother of the spleen. If the son's spleen is seriously ill first, the mother's life will be hard. The external image of the spleen is the gums, and bad gums will cause heart problems sooner or later.
At present, many people's heart diseases are misdiagnosed as spleen and stomach diseases, and they always feel that there is a pain under the heart socket, but when they go to the hospital, they are all stomach diseases and ignore the heart problems.
Chinese medicine believes that a person's body is a whole, and it is by no means a problem at a certain point. We should make good use of the five elements to generate grams, stand on the overall point of view, trace the source and improve comprehensively. Treat before you get sick, treat before you get sick, and naturally send troops to solve it.
3 Wuxing health
Combined with the principle of five elements generating grams, we should focus on the following aspects in the four seasons health preservation:
Replenish spleen in spring. Liver, wood, spleen, soil, the main hair growth in spring, wood gas, it hurts the spleen, yellow benefits the spleen and stomach, so the food eaten in spring is to nourish the spleen and stomach, such as yellow millet porridge.
Raise lungs in summer. Summer is a heart fire, fire is gold, lungs are gold, and getting angry hurts the lungs. At the same time, the weather is hot in summer, with qi scattered on the body surface, internal deficiency and spleen and stomach weakness. So drinking cold drinks in summer is the most taboo. White moistens the lungs, and you can eat more white food in summer.
Nourish the liver in autumn. Autumn is lung gold, Jin Kemu, so you should nourish liver qi in autumn. Cyan nourishes the liver, and eating acid properly can clear the liver and purge fire.
Nourish the heart in winter. In winter, kidney water is in season, and water can reduce fire, so it is necessary to nourish the heart and replenish the heart in winter.
The vitality is hidden in the kidney, and the kidney essence should be absorbed all year round, and the kidney should be black.
Of course, the above are just some basic health preservation methods when we are healthy, and it may get twice the result with half the effort to adapt to the four seasons.
But what if the body is sick? I think there is a good idea in the book that Mr. Wang is ill. When pigeons occupy the magpie's nest, only by driving the pigeons away first can the magpie come back and all kinds of nourishing methods can play a role. If the cold pathogen doesn't go away, nutrition will come, and if it can't move, it may accumulate a series of empirical evidence, such as cysts, stones and even cancer.
Chinese medicine is extensive and profound. Reading and learning Chinese medicine is a process of understanding the philosophy of life and the mysteries of nature. It is a great blessing in life, which not only strengthens the body but also pleases the body and mind.
The above is what I gained from reading this book. I have a preliminary understanding of the five elements of health care, and I also understand that health care should be patrolled. Spring, summer, autumn and winter, growth and collection, survival of the fittest.
Life is nothing but qi and blood, and vigorous qi and blood make you healthy. Health care is very simple, "nothing is indifferent, the true spirit follows, the spirit stays inside, and the disease is safe." Good mentality, good qi and blood, good health.
Grateful to meet Chinese medicine.
