The reasons for being poor and rich, how to seek happiness and make great achievements?
Giving is one of the six degrees of Buddhism, and the fundamental purpose of Mahayana Buddhism bodhisattva's six degrees of ten thousand deeds is to realize him consciously, and at the same time to free all sentient beings from suffering, to prove the Buddha's fruit and to obtain great relief. Here, I hope that all beings will often give alms, plant Futian widely, stay away from the sea of suffering, and prove Bodhi early! Author: Xia, a layman, why are some people especially lucky and comfortable, while others are short of food and clothing and have a hard life? Although many people work hard for good luck every day, they are not blessed. What is the reason? The Buddha said: "If you rob thousands of people, what you do will not die, and the karma will be born at your own risk! The master said: "There is no way for disaster and happiness, only people recruit themselves, and good and evil are reported as follows." The ancients also said, "Poverty is determined by fate, so why not sigh?". "But knowing to do good, Mo Wen has a future." From this, we know that a person's poverty, hardship, wealth and good fortune are all cultivated, that is, from cause and effect. There is a saying in Buddhism: "If you ask about karma in previous lives, you will be the recipient in this life;" If you ask about the afterlife, the doer in this life is ". Therefore, a person's wealth, beauty, ugliness, wisdom or stupidity, health or blindness are all different experiences, which means what you have done in the past and what you will get in this life. Similarly, what you sow in spring and what you reap in autumn; If there is no sowing in spring, where will there be harvest in autumn? Since it is a causal relationship, what has been given in the past will have money in this life, and what has not been given will have no money. Therefore, if we want to get good returns, we must learn to give, all kinds of good reasons. Giving can be done from three aspects: financial giving, legal giving and fearless giving. Financial aid is divided into foreign money and domestic money. External wealth refers to external property, such as land and money; Internal wealth refers to an individual's body, such as limbs, brain marrow and internal organs. It is not easy for ordinary people to give alms, only people with great bodhisattva's heart can do it. For example, Sakyamuni Buddha practiced bodhisattvas from generation to generation, gave his life to feed tigers and cut meat to feed eagles. This is because he understands that all living beings have Buddha nature, so he can give with equality and truly achieve giving paramita. The reason why you cultivate wealth and give alms is the result of inducing wealth. Buddhism is the truth of life in the universe, and giving with this truth is called Buddhism. Truth includes secular law, secular law and secular law. The truth of secular law is vulgar truth; The truth of the law in the world is called the true meaning; At best, it is the first meaning of the middle way. Practice is inseparable from secular law, which refers to the principle of being a man and treating people with things. In Confucianism, it is three cardinal principles and five permanents, four dimensions and eight virtues. In today's society, it is about obeying the law. These are vulgar truths that no one can violate. Although practice is to pursue the true meaning and even achieve the first meaning of the middle way, Buddhism can not be separated from secular law, just like building a ten-story pavilion. If the first floor is not built, you can't get to the top floor. The upper layers are metaphors of the true meaning and the first meaning of the middle way, while the lower layers are based on vulgar truth. To practice bodhisattva, we must understand the common truth, true meaning and the middle way, and achieve the harmony of the three truths, so as to benefit all beings with different foundations by law. Giving money to the poor, giving medicine to the sick, giving light to darkness, and letting others get spiritual stability and reduce their fears is called fearless giving. For example, give care and encouragement to frustrated people to build their confidence; It is fearless to install street lamps on remote and dark roads to free pedestrians from fear. In the Samadha Sutra of the Moon Lamp, the Buddha talks about giving ten benefits: Bodhisattvas who believe in music, are frank and honest, and paramita have ten benefits. How about ten o'clock? A man succumbs to miserly worries. These two practices are consistent. All sentient beings, together with their assets, have been strengthened and destroyed. Four people gave birth to a rich family. These five people were born before giving them hearts. These six people are often loved by four people. These seven people are one of the four fearless people. Eight celebrities, all over the world. Nine hands and feet are soft and palms are flat. The ten directions and even the Taoist trees are inseparable from the good knowledge and disciples heard by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Sometimes there must be something in life, and there is no need to force it in life. If you want to change your destiny, there are many good reasons. Since you want to get rich, you should repair more money, Dobusch; If you want to be smart and wise, practice dharma and give alms; If you want to live a long and healthy life, you should practice giving fearlessly. The direct result of giving is that we will not be poor in this life and in the future, including poverty in money, food and medicine. It is recorded in Buddhist classics that once Sharifutsu offered a bowl of rice to the Buddha, and the Buddha immediately gave it to the dog, and asked Sharifutsu, "Who pays more if you give me rice and I give it to the dog?" Sharifutsu said: "The Buddha's giving gives a lot of blessings to dogs, because the Buddha's heart is pure." Therefore, there should be three kinds of pure thoughts when giving, that is, happiness before giving, clarity and purity when giving, and joy after giving. At the same time, let our hearts let go of greed and persistence, and keep our place. The Diamond Sutra says: "Bodhisattva is not born with Dharma, but gives alms. If people have a purpose, the sun shines and they see all kinds." Therefore, planting Futian widely with a pure heart is a bodhisattva who is self-interested and altruistic and can achieve infinite merits. Here, I hope that all beings will often give alms, plant Futian extensively, stay away from the sea of suffering, and prove Bodhi early.
