Mr. Li Yuquan, the inventor of cupping therapy in Yuquan, was a patient with chronic nephritis and nephrotic syndrome in 1980s. After various treatments with Chinese and Western medicine, there was no obvious effect. Later, it was treated with traditional cupping and miraculously cured! Since then, Mr Li Yuquan has formed an indissoluble bond with cupping and devoted himself to the research of cupping.

In order to further study the mechanism of cupping therapy, he visited famous doctors all over the country, and explored the therapeutic mechanism while learning cupping therapy. Through continuous study, research and practice, he found that the internal organs, limbs, meridians, nerves and blood of the human body have corresponding reflex zones on the back of the human body, and cupping in the reflex zone can not only treat diseases, but also diagnose diseases.

After knocking and cupping at Shu point on the back, marks of different colors and shapes will be produced. Through a lot of clinical practice, the relationship between the color and shape of cupping marks and visceral diseases was explored. This simple discovery laid the foundation for the later invention of "cupping diagnosis at Yuquan point on the back".

After more than 20 years of hard study and repeated experiments, Mr. Li Yuquan has accumulated more than 300,000 clinical cases, which were secretly passed down by Professor Li Zhinan, a famous national health expert.
