The title of Shou Shi Bao Yuan fully embodies Gong's own medical health care concept as the champion of medical forest: a person is endowed with vitality, with a god official inside, full of righteousness, and does not conform to all diseases. Today's fallacy is to protect the cloudless person, that is, to protect his Yuan God, so that he will always be the master of the whole body, protect his vitality, and let him always be the assistant of the whole body, and then God will not be raped because of all kinds of qi, and there will be no reason for all kinds of diseases. In this way, we can achieve the goal of making people in the world live a long and healthy life. Therefore, Gong divided the book "Shoushi Baoyuan" into ten volumes, covering viscera, meridians, diagnostic methods, treatment principles, medicinal properties, diseases and syndromes, prescriptions, remedies, first aid, qigong, dietotherapy, health preservation, miscellaneous diseases treatment, moxibustion and so on. Most notably, Gong also provided the formulas and usage of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction, Shiquan Dabu Decoction and Liuwei Dihuang Pill recognized by later generations. It can be considered that "Shou Shi Bao Yuan" is a family-practical palace medical care encyclopedia, and it is a book that combines the treasures of the imperial palace in the Ming Dynasty, the attacks of the literati's homes in the world, and the secrets of foreigners.
