I am very opposed to this family education lifestyle. Lack of sleep and poor nutrition. Then I want my children to succeed and my daughter to succeed. As a result, nothing can be done. What's the use? Therefore, I often loudly appeal that all parents should receive re-education now, which is a very serious problem. Teenagers should sleep more. It is enough for old people to sleep for three to five hours every night. It's not bad for the elderly to sleep when they are old, but those who are too fat and love to sleep are ill, so they should know when to eat what and how much to sleep.

Sleep is one of the five covers of practice, and the more you love it, the more uneasy you become. It hurts to sleep for a long time, like a fat man who likes to sleep and snores. Why do you snore? Because you are angry, you will sleep when you sit there, so sleep is an obstacle. The five principles of spiritual practice are wealth, fame, diet and sleep, money, relationship between men and women, food problems, fame and competitiveness, good sleep and psychology and physiology.

Hard work can break sleep, but there are ways to break sleep. Like practicing yoga qigong, there are also special qigong methods in Buddhism. Taoism says that "the spirit is full of lust, the spirit is full of food, and the spirit is full of sleep". When the spirit is full and the brain is full of god, there is no need for sleep. After the successful cultivation of the four great bodies and the transformation of karma habits, there is no dream at night, and there is absolutely no dream when sleeping. They can sleep for many years or wake up for many years. "Light as a leaf" can float in the air; "Day and night are bright", this heart is bright day and night. Remember these three sentences of Taoism.

Sleep is a habit that can be broken. Breaking it requires practice and hard work, and it can't be broken without hard work. Medicine also knows that sleep is a habit. For example, I have been practicing sleep for decades, and I can sleep for a long time or not, and I can stay up all night. If you think you want to sleep at night, you can't sleep during the day. This is just a habitual concept, and it doesn't have to be like this. It's night now, and it's daytime in America, so I lived in America for several months, and I couldn't sleep for a few days, because the time of day and night was reversed. In fact, you have forgotten the concept of day and night, and you can sleep whenever you want. There is nothing upside down. Whether to hang upside down is a psychological habit. Therefore, sleeping and eating are all things that need to be practiced and done, because if you follow these habits, you will inevitably have troubles, and if you have troubles, you will inevitably get dizzy.

But don't mess around, don't get enough sleep. First of all, your eyes can't stand it, or you will be blind. These all need to know the method of adding lines, and the method of adding lines and repairing them is not that simple. So if it is really cured, myopia will recover and presbyopia will be improved. But when you are really too old, your eyes are always hard. It is easier to wear the lightest glasses.

Buddha said, why do people sleep? There are two reasons, one is physical fatigue, and you need to sleep when you enter a sleepy state; One is mental fatigue. I think too much with my head. I am tired and want to sleep. This kind of sleep is a state, that is, a habit. If you can check out this habit, you can let go of sleepiness, which is the real letting go.

Sleep is a phenomenon, a big groggy. Especially sleeping on a hot day is not comfortable at all, and I always feel tired and have no strength. Why? Because the air outside is very hot, you feel sleepy, but in fact you are not asleep, in a daze, with many fantasies and dreams, and your brain has not been completely rested. This situation is called groggy. Some people always want to sleep, feel groggy and trapped by yin. The Taoist priest said they were trapped by yin. What do you mean sleepy? Too much moisture, indigestion, or listlessness, or too low or too high blood pressure, for many reasons, are very troublesome, so it is necessary to observe clearly that this is a virtual fire.

However, if a person is ill, has a cold or is seriously ill, he needs to sleep and rest. After getting enough sleep and rest, his mind will calm down, and the prevalence of qi and blood will follow the laws of nature, so he can stop his illness and prolong his life. Because when people are at rest, the recovery and even progress of health are taken for granted. Life has an instinctive activity, so when we are sick, we have to sleep and rest to restore this instinctive activity. Similarly, it does not mean that meditation or monasticism has special effects. The so-called meditation is the activity of imitating instinct. Often in a static state, instinctive activities always turn regularly. When it turns to a certain time, it will erupt, and another instinctive activity will erupt. That is the tangible real Yang Qi, which erupts in physiological phenomena, but it is not invisible qi.

There are thousands of different postures when people sleep. Anyone who has served in the army or lived in groups will know that when 100 people sleep, there are 100 different sleeping positions, which are even uglier than death. They open their mouths, tilt their mouths, lie prone, bow their heads, laugh, cry, lose their temper and talk in their sleep. And observing other people who have slept for a long time, are sleepers dreaming? What did you dream about? You can know by standing next to him that his sleeping expression-emotions and sorrows are expressed incisively and vividly. Observing a person sleeping means that this person is still active and he is not really asleep. Someone has done research on dreams. A man had a long dream. Dreaming for decades, in fact, the longest dreaming time will not exceed five seconds.

A big groggy is called sleep, and a groggy can make you have all the troubles. In other words, people who are in a daze are greedy, greedy, stupid, slow and suspicious. People who love to sleep must be lazy, like wine, sex and wealth. Especially all beings in the world of desire commit crimes at night or at night. If we study this matter clearly, we will know that all troubles are caused by ignorance and all troubles are caused by dizziness.

In sleep, there are fundamental troubles and accompanying troubles. These troubles are caused in dreams during sleep and belong to the consciousness of solitary shadows. Some troubles in my dream came to me for the seventh time. You should study and observe them yourself. Look at the look on his face when he sleeps. If you watch carefully, you will know that there is something on his mind. Sometimes everyone laughs, and sometimes they are extremely angry. Why doesn't he think so? Because the sixth consciousness is not clear, it is only the function of solitary consciousness and qualitative environment, so it exists in the cell expression of the whole body, but not in conscious memory. Being awake day and night is awakening, so the Buddha felt it. The third ancestor of Zen said in "The Inscription of Confidence": "If the eyes are not sleepy, the dreams will disappear. If the heart is the same, everything is the same. " So, there seems to be no problem with sleep, but in sleep, Araille's criminal behavior is more serious than waking up, and only certain people can see it clearly.

Therefore, according to medical observation and my experience, a person really falls asleep for only two hours at most, and the rest is a waste of time, lying on a pillow dreaming, and no one does not dream. As for waking up and not dreaming, it's because I forgot. Usually two hours' sleep alone is enough. Why do some people sleep for seven or eight hours? That's your habit of lying in bed with a pillow to rest. We don't need that long sleep time, especially those who meditate and do kung fu know that as long as you close your eyes and really fall asleep for three minutes at noon, it is equivalent to sleeping for two hours, but you should make good use of the noon time. At night, you must fall asleep in front of positrons. Five minutes equals six hours. The knowledge at this time is related to the laws of the universe, the laws of the earth, and the yin-yang principle of the Book of Changes. You will feel a force coming down from the heart and merging with the strength of the abdomen (on the kidney). The so-called "fire and water ji ji" suddenly makes you sleep enough and feel refreshed.

Therefore, people who have insomnia or really want to stay up late at night must sleep until midnight, or even twenty minutes. If they can't sleep, they should train themselves to fall asleep. You don't want to sleep after about 12: 30, which is bad. What's more, at four or five in the morning or five or six in the morning, you are sleepy and want to sleep. If you sleep at this time, you will be sleepy all day. Therefore, people who have to work late at night should put down even if there is something important, sleep for half an hour and don't sleep at five or six in the morning. The spirit of that day is enough. However, most people who suffer from insomnia survive twelve o'clock and toss and turn in bed. As a result, they fall asleep at dawn and get dizzy the next day, so you will feel that insomnia leads to insufficient sleep. Actually, you have no experience.

How can people fall asleep? Although sleeping is not really brainless, it is not really clean, but almost clean. As soon as I am quiet, I can't sleep until I put all my thoughts down! You can't sleep with an idea, can you? This experience is the same for everyone! So I relaxed and fell asleep. As the saying goes, yin and yang are spontaneous, and you don't have to make decisions. When I woke up, my spirit came again. Understand this truth and practice Buddhism.

When a person sleeps and snores, he is not really asleep, and his brain still has thoughts; When he really fell asleep, he got used to breathing, and suddenly stopped breathing and did not move for a short time. It's really asleep. Wait a minute. He took another breath and his body moved. So anyone who knows how to stop Buddhist meditation will know that the realm of rest is not breathing, nor is it breathing. When breathing really doesn't come or go, there is absolutely no thought. This is ethereal, and we should start practicing from this place. Self-cultivation means no thoughts, no distractions and delusions in psychology, no emptiness, no emptiness. This pure state is psychologically positive, and it will come again after one yang. Physiologically speaking, breathing is just the moment when you really fall asleep. Don't shout or inhale. This is where Yiyang will move in life.

Taoists talk about "the soul of the sun". The sun shines on the moon and the moon is reflected. We saw something on the moon. In fact, what we see is the "soul of the sun", which is the projection of light. Our soul is a projection, and only when it radiates can we see it. In fact, what is projected from the moon is solar energy, which is the function of sunlight. This theory is very scientific. Theory is method. How can we practice Buddhism to live forever? Here's the method. So Buddhism is very reasonable. You should watch a sun in your heart when you sleep. Many people sleep, regardless of the sun and the moon, but if they can really watch, they will live forever. This is a clever idea. Therefore, I often say that learning Buddhism and being a monk are all about science, not superstition.

What is the concept of sun gear? I got up this morning. Do you see the sun? When I mention the sun, is there a shadow of the sun? Really? Yes Oh! The realm just set is the scenery! There is no need to think of any other way. Grab it! What most people think of as "the other way" is wrong. Sakyamuni Buddha shows you sun gear, which is the most wonderful way, because everyone has seen the sun. When I mention the sun, there is the sun in your heart. Do you have the sun in your heart? Yes, this is it, neither increasing nor decreasing, (pa! ) it will be solved. Stop and watch. You got it? You can still talk and nod, but you still have the image of the sun in your mind. There are stations and views inside, and there are stations and views. But are you delusional? Yes I want to fly around, but the sun image in your mind is still there, unaffected, right? Just hold on like this.

You really stopped practicing. At this time, you can visualize the colorful light in your body, or when you are sick, when you stop practicing, if you look at the sunshine in the void, or the sun and the moon above your head, this light will shine on your internal organs, and everything is empty, and you can still treat diseases! Cancer patients go to hospital more severely than chemotherapy.

There are many people who can't fix their temples and don't sleep, thinking that this is learning Zen; Some people think that meditation without sleep is the right way. Since the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, there have been many such strange tricks. They meditate, talk and work all day, but people are confused, or scattered and troubled. Many people have asked me about not falling, isn't that the way not to fall? Which classic and commandment tell you not to fail? Unless you are really cultivating monks. Even the Buddha himself has to sleep. Classic, in discipline, he only teaches you to sleep, observe the sun in your heart, sleep clearly and sleep less. These pressures exist. A monk sleeps, but if he removes five covers, he doesn't tell you not to lie down.

I said these words, not to say that it is wrong; It's just that if you think you have the physical ability, you can do it. If you don't have this physical ability, you will eventually practice Buddhism and your physical strength will be destroyed first. It's not worth it! I said it seriously and told you sincerely. Buddha is an empty talker, an empty talker and a liar. We should tell the truth, speak honestly, and honestly is the Dojo, so we should pay attention to this problem. You must be well-nourished and have enough rest before you can study hard. People asked me what I was doing in seclusion! Go to sleep. Sleep for seven or eight days as soon as you enter the room, and then don't sleep. You will study hard as soon as you sit down. Especially after eleven o'clock in the evening, you must sleep, sleep for a while, and you will be refreshed.

Sleep is a habit, a physiological habit, which is accumulated from the physiological habits of many generations. Those who practice at home can sleep, and don't need to sleep. When ordinary people sleep, they have no spirit at all. You said, Lao tze I just don't sleep, you can't. You're not comfortable at all. You can't make your own decisions. You fell asleep in a daze. After falling asleep, my thoughts are gone and I am in ignorance, which belongs to the category of "stupidity" in greed and stupidity. Sleeping is sometimes a bad karma, sometimes a good karma, and sometimes a bad karma. For example, you are very angry today and want to kill someone to vent your anger, but on second thought, forget it, sleep first and get up again. But after sleeping, the power of killing thoughts decreases, which is the good karma of sleep. However, if you say, I'm too tired today, and I'll kill him after I have a good rest tomorrow, that's bad karma. We usually don't remember when we sleep. After a sleep, we forgot everything the next day. If an enlightened person is too tired, he knows in his heart that he needs to sleep. This is not a fault, but a place to rest. Therefore, sleeping is also a lot of learning and interesting, and it is also very difficult to use.
