After people who are familiar with me inadvertently know that I have the habit of getting up early, they all like to ask two questions: how can I keep getting up early? What are you doing up so early?
I don't like answering these two questions very much, because I don't have confidence in answering them, which may affect the values of some naive children. Perhaps the world hopes that the answer behind its own questions can be supported by a positive energy story that makes the gods cry. It would be best if this story can also have special effects that make people cry. But I didn't.
The habit of getting up early is formed unintentionally. Before that, I was also a night owl who didn't go to bed until after twelve o'clock at night. Four years ago, in order to control my weight, I read many books on health preservation and found that many books would emphasize the importance of going to bed early and getting up early. To tell the truth, I didn't notice the word "getting up early" at that time. I only noticed the importance of going to bed early in the book. This book lists the terrible consequences of staying up late. I've always been afraid of death and eager for fitness. After reading the health book for about half a month, I actually started to rest early every day. After soaking my feet at 9 o'clock, I went to bed at 10. It happened that I was taking Chinese medicine to recuperate during that time, and I soon got used to the rhythm of sleeping at 10.
People's sleep duration has an interval value, and the "side effect" of going to bed early will soon appear, that is, they will wake up very early in the morning, especially in summer. When they need a short sleep duration, they can wake up before five o'clock, and in winter, they will wake up at six o'clock. Four years have passed, and now, the time when I wake up in the morning has magically adjusted automatically with the change of seasons, basically in sync with the sun.
Suddenly there was so much extra time in the morning that I was a little uncomfortable at first, but I soon found the pleasure of getting up early, that is, eating breakfast. Change all kinds of breakfast every day, such as yam, barley, Euryale ferox porridge, red beans, red dates and medlar soup, freshly squeezed soybean milk, freshly squeezed black bean soybean milk and jiaozi soup. What's more, I sometimes roast two chicken wings with red wine. God knows how much I love this, and I can successfully control my weight under such a breakfast attack. It's really unreasonable to think about it. Later, what I expected most before going to bed every night was to wake up for breakfast tomorrow. Yes, I'm not afraid of your jokes. During that time, it was never a dream, not an alarm clock, but something I ate for breakfast.
In life, I belong to a more casual person. Getting up early will cost me so much time, and I won't be ecstatic. I must make a perfect plan to make good use of this time, and then force myself to wake up at some point every day. After waking up, I will do what I want to do first, and then do what I want to do. Every time I finish what I plan, I will put a check on the schedule. Because in this case, I will soon feel that getting up early is a task, and then I will feel great pressure, and I will get tired of and resist this lifestyle over time.
For getting up early, we need to have a basic understanding: getting up early is not necessarily superior to getting up late, and people who get up early are not necessarily happier and more fulfilling than those who get up late. It's just a lifestyle of personal choice. To get up early for a long time, you must rely on your internal motivation, not external pressure, because if you rely on the latter, once the pressure is gone, you will think, "Ah, you have been suffering for so long, and now you can finally sleep in." In this way, you have never got into the habit of getting up early.
However, many friends are still asking how to keep getting up early. What I want to say is that getting up early and going to bed early complement each other. Please stay up early if you can. So, when can I go to bed early? Some people will have questions: go to bed at twelve o'clock at night, and go to bed early at eleven o'clock instead. If you often go to bed at two or three in the morning, go to bed early at twelve. These are all true. If you want to get up early, going to bed earlier today than yesterday is progress. This may be a gradual process. But some people say they don't want to wait for this process. I just want to go to bed early and get up early in a short time. what can I do? There is a way, but it is more painful, that is, get up early and then go to bed early. You get up at five o'clock in the morning and insist on not sleeping in the cage, dozing off and taking a nap. I was sleepy at night, so I fell asleep naturally. But this method will be very painful a few days ago, and I have no spirit to do things during the day, but it will always be fine. Everything will always pay a price, right?
Back to the beginning question, how to go to bed early?
There is a cloud in Han Yuefu's poem Peacock Flying Southeast: After dusk, the lonely people will meet at the first time. This involves a time: people decide. People decided that it was time to calm people down. The appointed time is 9: 00 p.m. to 1 1 p.m., which is what we often call Shihai. The ancients in China named each hour according to the animals in the zodiac, and divided a day into twelve hours. Hai is a pig. When the sea is chaotic, pigs are chaotic creatures who only know how to eat, so pigs have become the zodiac of Hai. This is the sleeping time that the ancients set for themselves, which means that when it comes to the sea of rocks, they should sleep like pigs.
However, we don't blindly emphasize that the earlier you go to bed, the better. After all, people's sleep duration will be affected by different seasons, and it is unrealistic to force themselves to sleep at 10 365 days a year. After all, we are not ancients, and there will still be overtime and parties. So, how to grasp the degree of going to bed early? I suggest that you have time to read The Theory of Four Qi Regulating the Spirit in Huangdi Neijing. There are interesting descriptions in the book to adjust the schedule according to the changes of the four seasons, such as "Xia San month, lying at night and getting up early; In autumn and March, go to bed early and get up early; " "Go to bed early and get up late in winter and March" emphasizes adjusting one's sleeping time and getting up time according to the change of seasons, instead of blindly emphasizing going to bed early or getting up early at a fixed time.
Xu Wenbing, a famous Chinese medicine expert, has also studied this problem. He said: You can sleep at 10 on the spring equinox and autumn equinox, because you can sleep after 10 in summer at that time, and at the latest, it will not exceed 1 1 point. It is recommended to go to bed before 10 in winter. Chinese medicine says that 9: 00 to 1 1 is the working time of sanjiao, which is the working time of endocrine system. The upper jiao involves the thyroid gland, the middle jiao involves the pancreas and the lower jiao involves the adrenal gland, which is the gland that provides the initial heat, energy and power for the human body. Therefore, it is best to let the body enter a state of "personal decision" at this time.
What time do you get up early? We often hear in costume dramas that officials have to get up early to "punch in", that is, from five to seven in the morning. It's not easy for the ancients to be an official, and they have to go to work so early. Do we have to get up at five o'clock 365 days a year? That's not true. The time to get up early should also be adjusted according to the changes of the four seasons. In summer, for example, it's almost dawn at five o'clock. It is no problem to get up and exercise at this time, but it is unhealthy to get up and exercise before the sun comes out at five o'clock in winter. Therefore, getting up early should also be based on the changing laws of heaven and earth and your physical condition, rather than blindly thinking that getting up as early as possible is better.
What are you doing up so early? This question is a bit complicated to answer. At first, as mentioned above, I ate breakfast, watered flowers, fed fish and read books. Later, a set of customary processes was gradually fixed. After waking up in the morning, put the red bean steam eye mask in the microwave oven on the way to pour hot water, turn on the heating button for 30 seconds regularly, take it out on the way back from the bathroom after drinking hot water, lie on the bed and hang your head on the edge of the bed, put the back of the red bean eye mask on your navel for hot compress, turn on the reading software to continue playing the novel or book review I was listening to yesterday, and start doing eye exercises. After doing eye exercises, the heat of the red bean eye mask is running out. You can pick it up and apply it to your eyes. At this time, you will start to massage your abdomen clockwise and counterclockwise, 30 times each. After massaging your stomach, the steam eye mask is cold and can be taken away. Then massage the face and neck to accelerate the circulation of the lymphatic system. Then get up and do simple exercises, such as leg press, sit-ups, squats and lifting dumbbells. Then I began to prepare and eat breakfast. After breakfast, I water the flowers and do some simple housework.
It takes me about an hour to do the above things. After these things, I will turn off the listening software, read and write, and sometimes put on a mask by the way, and then go out to work at eight o'clock. If I get up at five o'clock in the summer morning and go out to work at eight o'clock, I have about two minutes to read and write besides exercise and breakfast.
The above is just a habit. I haven't made any plans yet, but getting up early has brought me many benefits invisibly. For example, simple exercise every morning can keep my weight at 94 pounds all the year round; Originally, dysmenorrhea was relieved by insisting on hot compress massage in the morning. Because massaging the face every day promotes the circulation of blood and lymphatic system, although I have been working for several years since graduation, occasionally when I go out shopping for dinner, an enthusiastic aunt will ask me if I graduated from college. Although listening to the book software every morning is not long, it is worthwhile to spend three months listening to all the stories of the Ming Dynasty. Now, if I don't do this process one morning, I will feel that something is missing all day, which is very uncomfortable.
Some friends who get up early will plan what to do the morning before, which is good. After all, planning things in a planned way can improve the efficiency of doing things It's just that I prefer leisure life, so I didn't make a plan for this period of time in the morning. At most, I think about which book to read tomorrow morning, or which manuscript to change, and which pictures need PS before going to bed. No matter how you spend the extra time after getting up early, as long as that's what you want to do.
In the final analysis, it is still that sentence. The habit of getting up early for a long time depends on internal motivation, not external pressure. You have to agree with this lifestyle from the heart and enjoy the pleasure of getting up early. It doesn't matter if some people can't get up at five in the morning. Everyone has a different constitution and has his own unique biological clock. A healthy lifestyle suitable for them is good.
