Spleen meridian

Full name "Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian". Spleen governs transport and transformation. Transport is to help the gastrointestinal tract absorb and digest the absorbed food, and then discharge the dirty things. Drain the dregs into the large intestine, absorb the substances with subtle nutrition, and transport them to the blood and all parts of the body. It can be seen that the transport function of spleen meridian is poor, which is very unfavorable to human health. Some people are often dizzy, that is, the blood does not end; Often cold hands and feet, that is, qi and blood are not enough; Often hand numbness, that is, blood can't reach the limbs.

Most of the Yin Yoga postures of bending knees and external rotation of thighs can stimulate the spleen meridian.

Because of the different stimulation of meridians, it has different conditioning effects on our internal organs. Different yoga postures will stimulate different meridians, and also have different physical therapy effects on our bodies.

Practice the following yoga poses:

Cat tail-pulling type

A reflexive form that bends strongly forward.

Stimulate the stomach meridian, spleen meridian (stretching the front thigh), bladder meridian and kidney meridian (when the back is arched and twisted) to reduce the pressure on the lower back. Stretch the quadriceps femoris and the front thigh.
