How to raise small snapping turtle seedlings?
Feeding methods of small snapping turtle seedlings;

The feeding container should be large enough, which needs to be 5~ 10 times of the tortoise shell, so that the turtle seedlings have enough room for growth and activity.

Keep the water clean. Change the water every day, and let the tap water dry for two days before use. There should be no temperature difference when changing water.

The water level should not be too high. Turtles breathe with their lungs, and so do small snapping turtles. Therefore, the water level is suitable for the tortoise to stick its neck and nose out of the water, which is generally twice the height of tortoise shell or tortoise shell.

Proper sun exposure every day can effectively kill some bacteria and prevent the occurrence of water mold.

Crocodiles can eat all kinds of things, such as shrimp, feed fish (Little koi fish), loach, meat and so on. Shrimp is best to be young, and the head and shell should be removed. The newly hatched seedlings are about 3 cm long, and about 2 shrimps a day is enough. Feed the shrimp about 5 cm, only the head can be removed, feed the loach about 5 cm ~ 10 cm, and feed the fish above 10 cm.

Crocodile turtles can hibernate normally above 1℃, enter a shallow hibernation state below 12℃, enter a deep hibernation state at 6℃, slightly move at 15℃~ 17℃, and feed normally above 18℃ at 20℃~33℃. Therefore, if it is not heated in winter, it must be above 20℃ to eat normally, or it can hibernate around 10℃. If the temperature is between 15~ 17℃, snapping turtles will consume a lot of energy, leading to weakness and even death.
