In fact, autumn cough is a very common "seasonal disease". In China's traditional medical concept, autumn breath is connected with the lungs of human body, and the lungs begin to know the nose, which is manifested in fur. In autumn, due to dry weather and dry things, the excessive internal heat in the human body also rises. At the same time, coupled with continuous cold air and temperature changes, it is very easy to cause lung-qi imbalance. Once the lung qi is out of balance, it is very prone to upper respiratory diseases such as dry mouth and nose, dry cough and sore throat. So we should pay attention to the maintenance of the respiratory system, especially the aftercare of the lungs.
First, the lung governs the qi of the whole body.
In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the primary function of lung is to "balance intelligence and control the qi of the whole body". All the qi in a person belongs to the lung. Su Wen's theory of six Tibetan images says: "lung is the source of qi"; Su Wen Wu Zang Dai also mentioned: "All qi belongs to the lung". In other words, the lung is the main qi.
This function of the lung mainly includes the following two aspects: First, it is related to the generation of qi, especially the generation of clan qi. Ancestral qi is formed by the combination of grain qi produced by the spleen and stomach and natural clear qi inhaled by the lung, which gathers in the lung. "Spirit Pivot Evil Guest" said: "When grains enter the stomach, their dregs, body fluid and ancestral qi are divided into three tunnels, so ancestral qi accumulates in the chest, comes from the throat and breathes through the heart." Therefore, whether the respiratory function of the lung is normal or not and how much clear gas is inhaled directly affect the rise and fall of ancestral qi and the function of the whole body viscera. Second, it is related to the regulation of the whole body qi. The coordination of Qi is the premise of Qi, and the breathing movement of lung is the movement of Qi itself. It is an important condition for maintaining and regulating the whole body qi to breathe and inhale alternately. Chen Xiuyuan, a physician in Qing Dynasty, said in Yi Yi: "Qi is connected with lung, and the qi of viscera and meridians is suitable for lung qi." Yu also said in the Medical Law: "The qi of the human body is determined by the lungs. When the lungs are clear, the whole body's qi will not be enough, and it will be smooth. " It can be seen that the lung's breathing is the basis for the lung to control the whole body's qi, so the theory of blood syndrome says: "The lung opens the nose and controls breathing, which is the general manager of qi." The integrated qi refers to the qi used inside and outside the whole body, including the qi of viscera and meridians. The fact that the lung governs the qi of the whole body means that the lung has the function of presiding over and regulating the qi of all organs and meridians of the whole body.
Second, drinking water is good for the lungs.
The easiest way to moisten the lungs in autumn is to actively replenish water. In dry autumn, the water evaporated through the skin every day is more than 600 ml, so hydrating is one of the important measures to nourish the lungs in autumn. An adult should drink at least 1500ml of water every day, and 2000ml in autumn can ensure the lubrication of lungs and respiratory tract. It is best to drink 200 ml before going to bed every morning and evening, and 800 ml every day between meals, so that the lungs can spend the golden autumn safely.
You can also "take" water directly from the respiratory tract. Because the lungs "begin to understand the nose", they satisfy water by inhaling water vapor. The method is simple: pour hot water into the teacup, aim your nose at the teacup and inhale for about 10 minutes each time, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Third, take a bath frequently.
Frequent bathing in autumn is beneficial to blood circulation, which makes the lungs and fur communicate with each other. Generally, the water temperature for bathing in autumn is around 25℃. 30 minutes before taking a bath, drink a cup of light salt boiled water first, and it is not advisable to rub it too much when taking a bath, mainly taking a dip bath. Bathing is beneficial to blood circulation, which can make blood flow smoothly in the lungs and skin, and play a role in moistening the skin and lungs. It is another simple and easy way to moisten the lungs.
Fourth, laugh often and disperse the lungs.
Laughter is a kind of fitness exercise, which can expand the chest, increase vital capacity and stretch the chest muscles. It can also promote lung qi, regulate the ascending and descending of human qi, relieve fatigue, depression, relieve chest tightness, restore physical strength, reduce lung qi, communicate kidney qi and increase appetite.
A heartfelt smile can spread lung qi all over the body and fully relax the muscles of the face, chest and limbs.
A knowing smile comes from the bottom of my heart. Laughing silently can reduce lung qi, connect kidney qi and strengthen kidney.
Laughter produces lung qi, so that the lungs can inhale enough clear gas, exhale waste gas, accelerate blood circulation, and achieve the purpose of harmonizing heart, lung, qi and blood.
