"The ultimate goal of yoga is actually the pleasure of physical and mental balance." Teacher Wu is not only a cooking teacher, but also a yoga teacher at the Ananma Yoga Sit-in.
Teacher Wu, who has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years, said that yoga is generally an introduction to soft movements of limbs, and then enters the meditation stage. "The food we eat every day will have an impact on our body and mind." Teacher Wu said that "what you eat is what you eat", and you should choose food according to time, place and person.
Intake pleasure, physical and mental pleasure
Feta cheese, black olives, tomatoes, sweet peppers and lettuce are suitable for eating in the morning, with olive oil, lemon juice, pepper, salt and a little spice.
In the definition of yoga food, basically it can only be ingested, and it is further divided into three types: pleasant, transgender and inert.
"For example, leafy vegetables, melons and fruits absorb the energy of sunlight in plants, and people will naturally be happy after eating them." However, onions, garlic, etc. It is too * * * for body and mind, and mushrooms lack positive energy because they grow in the dark and absorb humic substances, so although they are plants, they are classified as inert. "Meat obtained by harming life, as well as alcohol and tobacco that will anesthetize the spirit, are of course inert."
As for cooking methods, it is better to use less oil and not over-refine. "Just like Mediterranean cooking, it's ideal."
"Some people are naturally inclined to eat animal protein, so there is no need to force themselves to cooperate." Teacher Wu believes that yoga vegetarian diet is actually a moderate intake of nutrients you need, and there is no need for hard and fast rules. "Vegetarianism reduces ecological damage and is also a way to purify the soul!"
