The delicious food that Su Shi once tasted.
Su Shi once tasted Dongpo elbow, Dongpo tofu and Dongpo jade.

First, Dongpo elbow

Dongpo elbow has the characteristics of fat but not greasy, crisp but not rotten, and has good color, fragrance, taste and shape. Dongpo elbow soup is milky white, white with snow beans, and the pork elbow is soft and waxy, with original flavor and fragrance.

Su Dongpo has been to Yongxiu, Jiangxi, and cured a local farmer's child. To show his gratitude, the farmer specially kept him for dinner. During the dinner, Su Dongpo recited a poem: "The fragrance of grass pearls is in my heart".

When the farmer who was cooking in the kitchen heard this, he thought that this was Su Dongpo teaching him how to get to cook the meat-"Everything cooked with grass is fragrant", so he quickly put pork and straw tied with meat into the pot to cook, which became Dongpo's elbow.

Second, Dongpo tofu

Tofu from Dongpo, Sichuan cuisine, has the effects of nourishing the middle energizer, clearing away heat and moistening dryness, promoting fluid production to quench thirst and cleaning the stomach.

Tofu is rich in nutrition, containing many essential trace elements such as iron, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, as well as sugar, vegetable oil and rich high-quality protein, and is known as "vegetable meat". The digestion and absorption rate of tofu is above 95%. Two small pieces of tofu can meet a person's daily calcium requirement.

Tofu is a nourishing, heat-clearing and health-preserving food. Regular eating can tonify the middle energizer, clear away heat and moisten dryness, promote fluid production to quench thirst and clear the stomach. It is more suitable for people with heat constitution, bad breath, thirst, indigestion and fever.

Third, Dongpo Yusan

Dongpo jade is full of famous dishes cooked with yam. The name "Yumantang" is very beautiful. It is beautiful because it was named by Su Shi, a great writer and gourmet in the Song Dynasty. Besides infiltrating the literary achievements of great writers, it also has a family and a beautiful story.

It is said that Su Shi, a writer in the Song Dynasty, was banished to Hainan, where rice was rarely grown and incense was his profession. Almost all the rice is shipped from other places. Because of typhoons and other reasons, rice ships often stop sailing. At this time, local residents can only eat yam (Hainan people call yam yam). Su Shi and his son also do as the Romans do and eat sweet potatoes.

Only the third son, Su Guo, followed Su Shi to Hainan. When Su Guo saw his old father was in poor health, he tried to cook delicious food for him. Su Guo mashed the sweet potato before making soup for his father. Su Dongpo ate beautifully and improvised poems to praise him, so Dongpo jade was handed down.
