Five elements, five internal organs, five colors and five senses?
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the organic whole of human beings is an extremely complex unity with the five internal organs as the core, with the five internal organs as the leading factor, the six internal organs as the coordination, and the body tissues and organs as the network connection, forming five systems. This is a part of Chinese medicine system theory. Therefore, if we want to talk about TCM health preservation, we have to talk about the internal relations and mutual nurturing relationship between the five internal organs.

Wood → Fire → Earth → Gold → Water

Liver → Heart → Spleen → Lung → Kidney

If wood is used to make a fire, the liver will help the heart fire, the liver will store blood, and the heart will control the blood vessels. The normal function of the liver to store blood helps the heart to control blood vessels. Fire produces soil, that is, heart fire warms spleen soil, heart governs blood and mind, spleen governs blood transport, and heart governs blood and blood to nourish spleen; Spleen can transport, generate blood and regulate blood. Gold comes from the soil, that is, the spleen can help the lung to produce gold, and the spleen can replenish qi, transform qi and blood, regulate subtle substances to fill the lung, and promote the function of the lung to control qi to make it normal. Jin Sheng Shui, that is, lung gold nourishes kidney water, lung governs purgation, kidney governs storing essence, and the decline of lung qi helps kidney store essence, absorb qi and control water. Aquatic wood means that kidney water nourishes liver wood, kidney stores essence, and liver stores blood. Kidney essence can transform liver blood and help the normal operation of liver function. This relationship between the five zang-organs is expounded through the theory of the five elements generating each other.

Explain the mutual restriction between the five internal organs with the five elements: If the heart belongs to fire and the kidney belongs to water, water can control the fire, that is, kidney can restrict the heart fire and kidney can help the heart, so it can prevent the heart fire from flourishing. Lung belongs to gold, heart belongs to fire, and fire can kill gold, that is, heart fire can restrict lung gold, such as yang heat of heart fire, which can inhibit lung qi from being too clear. Liver belongs to wood, lung belongs to gold, and Jin Kemu, that is, lung gold can restrict liver wood, while excessive lung qi can inhibit hyperactivity of liver yang. Spleen belongs to soil and liver belongs to wood, indicating that liver wood can restrict spleen soil. If the liver qi is excessive, it can relieve the stagnation of temper. Kidney belongs to water and spleen belongs to soil, that is to say, spleen soil can restrict the transport and transformation of kidney water, such as spleen soil, to prevent kidney water from flooding. This mutual restriction between the five zang-organs can be explained by the theory of mutual restraint of the five elements.

Five, five senses

1, the nose is the official of the lung.

The shape of the nose is mainly stomach gas, and the nostrils are mainly lung gas, so the lungs begin to understand the nose, and the nose is the official of the lung. As long as a person's lungs are sick, they will first appear on the nose. The nose mentioned here mainly refers to the inside of the nostrils, and lung heat causes the nostrils to exhaust thick heat; Cold lung chills nostrils. For example, if a person has lung disease, he will have symptoms of wheezing and nasal distension.

2, the eye is the official of the liver

When the liver begins to understand the eyes, liver diseases will appear in the eyes. People with liver disease usually have blue eyes. If the child is frightened, blue veins or bruises often appear on the bridge of the nose, which is also related to the liver. In the combination of five colors and five zang-organs in TCM, the liver governs cyan. This cyan is not the green grass we usually see, but a pale color. The liver is born of kidney water, and the color of pale is a transitional color between black and cyan. By the way, a problem: if people don't keep in good health in winter, they won't grow up in spring and get sick. Therefore, understanding the corresponding relationship between color and viscera is beneficial to health care, and we can usually judge our physical condition by observing the change of our face.

Besides cheekbones, we should also pay attention to Tang Yin in our daily life, because heart disease will also show up in Tang Yin. Tang Yin is between his eyebrows. If it suddenly turns red here, the pattern is like snuff, which is a sign that the mind will be scattered. We should be very careful. This is called "fortune is at stake" and there may be a serious illness. It is not a good thing that Tang Yin is black. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, it is equivalent to water and gas, that is, too much kidney water and too weak heart fire. As soon as the kidney water comes up, the function of heart fire can't be played out. This is also a very dangerous signal. We should be careful about the color changes in Tang Yin in our daily life.

Any disease of the ear is related to the kidney. The saying that "the kidney begins to understand the ear" Patients with kidney disease will have symptoms of deafness and tinnitus.
