Pingyin County, which belongs to Jinan City, Shandong Province, is also known as the "City of Roses". It is located in the west of Shandong Province, southwest of Jinan City, 60 kilometers away from the provincial capital Jinan City. The first spring scenic spot in the world is located in the center of Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, with superior geographical position and convenient transportation. Jiurushan Waterfall Group Scenic Area is characterized by natural landscape, integrating eco-sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, health and holiday, and is a model of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. The scenic spot is about 48 kilometers away from downtown Jinan, with Zhangqiu City in the east and Laiwu City and Tai 'an City in the south. The vegetation coverage rate is over 97%, and the content of negative oxygen ions is over 70,000 per cubic centimeter, ranking first in Jinan.

The scenic spot covers an area of 36 square kilometers and can be divided into four major tourist areas: Deep Waterfall Scenic Area, Jiuru Canyon Scenic Area, Tian Peng Waterfall Scenic Area and Great Wall Ancient Road Scenic Area. The mountains are continuous, the peaks are overlapping, the canyons are vertical and horizontal, the forests are dense, the mountain springs are everywhere, the streams are staggered, and the waterfalls are clustered. These shocking landscapes are skillfully connected by the solid wood plank road with the longest length in the world, forming a landscape with Batan, Nine Waterfalls, Twenty-four Springs and Thirty-six Peaks as the core.
