In 1950s, when he was studying at Peking University, he met Han Qichang, a famous plum blossom boxing master in Wulin at that time. Because of hard work and excellent academic performance, he soon became a proud apprentice of Teacher Han. After graduation, Yan Zijie went to work in Tibet Meteorological Bureau. His profound martial arts made him like a protective robe, saved the day again and again in the plateau desert, and passed 18 spring and autumn safely, leaving a legendary experience. 1982, Yan Zijie was transferred to Shandong University as an associate professor and professor. Since then, he has been working hard in mathematics and teaching plum blossom boxing.

1September to February 8, 9621:worked as a weather forecaster and weather forecast engineer in Tibet Meteorological Bureau in Lhasa, Xizang Autonomous Region.
March 8 1 to March 1998 1: lecturer, associate professor, etc. Department of Mathematics, Shandong University.
From 1955 to 1962, Mr. Yan Zijie studied in the Department of Physics of Peking University (later transferred to the Department of Geophysics), and studied plum blossom pile martial arts under the famous martial artist Mr. Han Qichang who taught at the school. Because of its diligence, honesty, selflessness and rapid growth in skills, it was deeply loved by Mr. Han and soon became the seventeenth generation descendant of Meihuazhuang.
/Mr kloc-0/962 graduated from university and went to work in Tibet. He has served as a forecaster and engineer of Tibet Meteorological Bureau, and participated in all the activities of climbing Mount Everest organized by the state and scientific investigations in the border areas of the Himalayas. He worked in Tibet for 18 years. Thanks to his superb plum blossom pile fighting skill, he overcame various difficulties and many dangers, leaving an admirable legendary experience in his youth. During this period, he also took advantage of the opportunity to travel around the world, make friends everywhere, learn martial arts, further improve his skills, and have a certain reputation among the older generation of martial artists.
198 1 Mr. was transferred to the Department of Mathematics of Shandong University, and served as a lecturer and associate professor successively. At first, he wanted to immerse himself in mathematics teaching and research in the university, so he declined to associate with the off-campus martial arts society. However, after 1984, due to the recommendation of Jinan Wushu Association and the requirements of Shandong University student organizations, he stepped forward as the president and consultant of Shanda Wushu Association and began to teach Meihuazhuang Wushu in colleges and universities.
From 65438 to 0988, at the invitation of Professor Lu Yao from the History Department of Shandong University, in order to solve the problem of the origin of the Boxer Rebellion, he visited the vast rural areas of Shandong, Hebei and Henan. Therefore, he also got to know many old fighters of Meihua Boxing in rural areas, and established close feelings and contacts with them while helping counties in Hebei to carry out Meihua Boxing activities. Soon, his reputation spread to the ears of plum blossom boxing disciples all over the country.
After 1990, the plum blossom pile movement developed greatly throughout the country. In Hebei and Shandong, counties where Meihua Boxing people live in concentrated communities have set up their own Meihua Boxing Research Association, and some have also set up martial arts schools or martial arts schools in their own counties. Because of Professor Yan Zijie's prestige among the people of Meihua Boxing in China, he was hired as a consultant of Meihua Boxing Research Association, county martial arts schools and martial arts schools, and was often invited to participate in activities and parties organized by Meihua Boxing in various places.
1991February 18 Shandong Qilu Evening News and People's Daily Overseas Edition praised him as a "scholar martial artist" and introduced his life story and martial arts achievements in Meihuazhuang. Since then, many newspapers, magazines, radio and television have often reported his articles and shots. Especially in the last two years, local newspapers have published articles interviewing him and photos of his family many times, and his activities and interviews have also been broadcast on TV many times. He has become a famous figure. 1993 Shandong Meihuazhuang Research and Exchange Center was formally established, with Yan Zijie as its director. Later, he was hired as consultant and head coach of Meihuazhuang Research Association of Shandong University and Shandong Normal University, part-time researcher of Zhouyi Research Center of Shandong University, consultant and honorary principal of Meihuazhuang Wushu School in Liaocheng, Shandong Province and Meihuazhuang School in Puyang, Henan Province.
At present, there is no national plum blossom boxing organization in China, and many plum blossom boxing organizations, such as Shandong Meihuazhuang Research and Exchange Center, do not belong to the leadership of the national sports department or carry out activities independently of the Wushu Association. Moreover, we seldom participate in martial arts competitions or selection activities organized by sports and martial arts departments, so we don't use the titles of martial arts athletes and referees at all levels. For more than ten years, Professor Yan Zijie has trained 1000 students in Jinan universities and secondary specialized schools, and he is still closely related to him. They are all college graduates from various disciplines, many of whom are masters, doctors, postdocs and so on. They are professors, engineers and lawyers in different positions. They are distributed in cities all over the country and 15 or 16 places abroad, engaged in their own occupations and taught the martial arts of plum blossom piles.
