1. Draw a rectangle as the handle of the hammer, the length is about one third of the height of the canvas, and the width is about one fifth of the width of the canvas.
2. Draw a trapezoid as the head of the hammer on the left side of the handle. The upper side of the trapezoid is about two-thirds of the length of the handle and the lower side is about four-fifths of the length of the handle.
3. Draw a triangle on the left side of the trapezoid as the tip of the hammer. The length of triangle base is about two-thirds of the length of trapezoid base, and the height is about one-third of the height of canvas.
On the head of the hammer, draw an ellipse as the top of the hammer. The minor axis of an ellipse is about four-fifths of the length of the bottom of a trapezoid, and the major axis is about two-fifths of the width of a canvas.
5. Finally, paint black on the top and tip of the hammer to complete the drawing.
