1. Study on the philosophy of the Book of Changes: In the study of the relationship between the philosophy of the Book of Changes and Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, it is proposed that Yi Dao, a Zen master of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, is the backbone of China culture. He edited China's first Book of Changes Dictionary and Book of Changes Application Encyclopedia, published four books on the Book of Changes, including Yi Dao Trunk, and published more than 30 philosophical papers on the Book of Changes.

2. Philosophy research of TCM: To explore the methodology, ontology and values of TCM, the cultural history, academic development history and ideological characteristics of TCM, and the relationship between TCM and China culture. Editor-in-chief of the national college of traditional Chinese medicine planning textbook "Fundamentals of Chinese medicine philosophy", which is the first textbook of Chinese medicine philosophy. He has published more than 40 research papers on the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine and the history of traditional Chinese medicine thoughts. Among them, Yijing and Traditional Chinese Medicine won the first National Excellent Works Award of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

3. TCM literature research: discuss the exegesis and textual research of TCM literature. Editor-in-chief of the planning textbook "Ancient Chinese Medicine Classics" and the supporting textbook "Interpretation and Annotation of Ancient Chinese Medicine Classics" in Chinese medicine colleges, and published more than 20 related academic papers.

4. Health care research: A systematic and in-depth study of the health care theory, history and practical role of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and medicine. Basically completed the project of "Investigation and Research on the Health Care Concept and Practice of Beijing Citizens" funded by the American Anthropology Foundation, published papers in the international authoritative magazine Cultural Anthropology, and was included by SSCI. Published monographs "China Health Care Wisdom" and "Health Care Secrets in Elixir".
