Basic TCM Understanding Life Series (III): Shenque Point, the Three Acupoints of Human Body
As the folk saying goes, there are three treasures in the sky, the sun, the moon and the stars; There are three treasures in the ground, wind, fire and water; People have three treasures, essence, qi and spirit.

Chinese medicine regards essence, qi and spirit as the three treasures of human body. Among the three treasures, "God" is the leader, "God" is the soul of life, and the main source is the heart; "Qi" is the motive force of life, which mainly comes from the lungs; Essence is the foundation of life, which mainly comes from the kidney.

There are three important acupoints in the human body, Baihui point can benefit "spirit", Shenque point can supplement "qi" and Yongquan point can produce "essence".

Huangdi Neijing holds that man is the product of the qi of heaven and earth, the product of the interaction of yin and yang, born of the qi of heaven and earth, and formed according to the method of four seasons. People live where the falling weather meets the rising atmosphere. Qi of heaven and earth can be divided into yin and yang, and qi of human body can also be divided into yin and yang. Man corresponds to heaven and earth and is restricted by the laws of the movement of Yin-Yang and Five Elements.

Huangdi Neijing refers to all subtle substances in the human body as qi. According to its nature, qi in a broad sense can be divided into six categories: essence, qi (in a narrow sense), body fluid, body fluid, blood and pulse.

What is "essence"? Huangdi's Neijing (the following five paragraphs are homologous, omitted) says: "Er Shen fought and merged, and Mr. Chang is called the essence." Two gods, male and female, yin and yang, combine with each other to produce new life. Before the birth of new life, the basic substance of human reproduction was called "essence".

What is "Qi"? As the saying goes: "The development of cola will promote the taste of grains, fumigate the skin, fill the body and polish the hair. If the fog dew is irrigated, it is called qi. " Shangjiao spreads the essence of grains to all parts of the body, warms the skin, nourishes the whole body, moistens the hair, and irrigates the earth like fog and dew in nature, which is called "qi".

What is "Tianjin"? Yue: "Tell the body fluid to drain and sweat." The skin texture is developed, and the sweat that flows out slightly is called "Tianjin".

What is "liquid"? As the saying goes, "Five grains are full of qi, injected into bones, which flex and stretch, relieve qi, nourish marrow and moisturize skin, which is called body fluid." Shui Gu's subtle metaplasia fills the whole body, and the spilled part moistens bones, making joints stretch freely, and the oozing part nourishes the brain and skin. This fine substance is called "liquid".

What is "blood"? Said: "The medium coke is affected by qi, and the juice turns red, which is called blood." The spleen and stomach located in the middle jiao receive food and drink, absorb fine substances in them, and turn into red liquid after gasification, which is called "blood".

What is "pulse"? As the saying goes, "suppressing the soul of the camp and making it inevitable is a pulse." It is called "pulse" to restrict the operation of nutrient gas and prevent its abnormality according to certain laws and channels.

Six Qi have the same origin but different names, each with five internal organs. Lung controls qi, kidney stores essence, spleen controls body fluid, liver stores blood, and heart controls pulse. One divided by six, and the sum is one. Six qi are produced by subtle particles, and originated from particles and stomach.

Kidney stores essence, ears are the orifices of kidney, kidney essence deficiency and ear dystrophy are prone to hearing loss or deafness. The eyes can see everything and observe colors, all of which depend on the essence of the five internal organs. If the essence of Yang collapses, it is easy to see things clearly. Sweat is dissolved by body fluid, and sweating will cause a large loss of body fluid. Insufficient body fluid, bones, brain marrow and skin can not be nourished, limbs and joints are inflexible, face is haggard, brain marrow is empty, dizziness, insomnia and forgetfulness, leg soreness and tinnitus are frequent. The heart governs the blood, and Guanghua is in the face. Blood deficiency will be as pale as salt and dry and lifeless. Weak pulse leads to heavy pulse, weak pulse condition or even no pulse.

Shenque point, located at the navel of human body, belongs to the important point of Ren meridian. The fetus gets nutrition from the mother through umbilical cord before birth, and the scar left by umbilical cord after birth is navel. The navel is located between the middle jiao and the lower jiao. It is the residence of vitality and the intersection of congenital and acquired.

Ren pulse is the sea of yin pulse, governing the three yin of hands and feet; The Du meridian is the sea of Yang pulse, which is full of Yang and the main hand, foot and three Yang. Chong pulse is the sea of the twelve meridians, the sea of five zang-organs, which regulates the qi and blood of the twelve meridians and five zang-organs. Ren, Du and Chong three veins originated from the same cell (the cell of a man is called the spermary, and the cell of a woman is called the uterus), and they are of the same origin and different currents, and the soldiers are divided into three ways, all of which meet in the umbilical cord. Therefore, umbilical cord is the hub of meridians, where meridians and qi and blood converge. Umbilical cord is connected with hundreds of veins, with internal organs, hundreds of limbs and nine orifices.

Stimulating Shenque point has the effects of warming yang to rescue adverse events, inducing resuscitation, warming kidney and strengthening yang, regulating chong and ren, expelling wind and removing dampness, warming meridians and dredging collaterals, invigorating spleen and tonifying yang, regulating stomach and intestines, promoting qi circulation and promoting diuresis, resolving food stagnation and guiding stagnation. Shenque point can be exercised by moxibustion, traditional Chinese medicine application, massage and other methods to adjust the body's yin and yang and viscera functions, so as to achieve the purpose of treating diseases and preserving health. Because Shenque point is not suitable for disinfection and easy to cause infection, acupuncture is not recommended. Moxibustion at Shenque point is suitable for cold syndrome and deficiency syndrome, but not for heat syndrome and excess syndrome.

Here is a simple health care method: before going to bed at night, lie on your back, put your palm on Shenque point, and take your navel as the center. Massage clockwise for 5- 10 minutes, and then massage counterclockwise for 5- 10 minutes. The method should be gentle and slow, with slight abdominal sweat as the degree. Hungry or full, it is not suitable to massage Shenque point, which is easy to cause discomfort such as chest tightness and vomiting. Regular exercise of Shenque point can make human body full of qi and blood, full of energy, full of physical strength, strong waist muscles, radiant face and bright ears.
