Wenling Maternal and Child Health Hospital was established in March, 1997. Its predecessor was the Maternal and Child Health Station (Institute) established in 1953. It is a non-profit specialized hospital integrating medical treatment, health care, prevention, scientific research and public health management. After nearly 13 years of hard work and innovation and reform, the new hospital was moved to +0 1 in June 2006. At present, the hospital covers an area of 36 mu. In June 2007, it became Wenling Cooperative Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and was approved to be listed as "Wenling Women and Children Hospital". There are 236 employees in the hospital, of which 88.2% are college graduates and 92.3% are health technicians. Open beds 196, 6 wards. The number of outpatient visits reached 299,000 person-times, and the annual discharge was more than 1.3 1.26 person-times, ranking first among peers in Taizhou and in the forefront of maternal and child health hospitals at the same level in Zhejiang Province.
