Dawu High-speed Railway Economic Zone relies on the advantages of Xiaogan North Station, a prefecture-level intermediate station set up by Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway in Dawu, and Dawu's natural ecological environment to build a modern high-speed railway new city integrating administrative and business office, commercial trade, cultural tourism, hotel exhibition, theme industrial park, headquarters base, leisure and health, ecological residence and other functions. The project consists of administrative new area, Liu Jiahe ecological experience area of Dakui Mountain and high-speed rail starting area, covering an area of 25 square kilometers, with a total investment of 654.38+600 million yuan. The latter two development zones are about 10 square kilometers, which are jointly developed by Dawu county government and Great Wall Construction Company. The project construction is about to start, and it is planned to take shape in early March. In his speech, Zheng said that the signing of the project is a great achievement in attracting investment from Dawu County and even Xiaogan City, a good project to promote Dawu's accelerated economic and social development, and a big project to promote the construction of an experimental zone for economic and social development in the old revolutionary base area of Dabie Mountain, which will definitely inject new vitality and strong impetus into Dawu's new round of development.

Hubei United Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. invested in the development of Dawu high-speed rail eco-city project, and built a high-speed rail eco-city integrating administration, commerce, exhibition, commerce, tourism, leisure and ecological residence in the new high-speed rail area of the county, with a total investment of/kloc-0.2 billion yuan.

The development of high-speed rail has accelerated the process of Dawu's poverty alleviation and development, and also brought opportunities for Dawu's cultural and educational industry development. Xiaogan North high-speed railway station is located in Dawu County, with a total length of nearly 60 kilometers. It is the only secondary station on the Shiwu high-speed railway line established at the county level. Under the double superposition effect of Beijing-Zhuhai and Mazhu high-speed railways, Dawu has become a regional transportation hub in northern Hubei.
