A year ago, when I clenched my fist above my head and solemnly swore in the face of bright red party flag, my life had the greatest belonging from then on. Since then, there has always been a voice reminding me: Who am I? I know I am a China party member first. I proudly turned over the glorious chapter of the party's 80-year history; When Premier Zhu Rongji publishes economic indicators showing the rapid growth of China's comprehensive strength every year, I am very excited; When the party introduced many flexible, pragmatic and effective political, economic and military measures, I appreciated them; I feel angry when some hostile forces at home and abroad maliciously vilify the party's historical achievements and practical efforts with ulterior motives; I am very sad to see a group of party cadres fall in the wave of corruption; When there are serious political and economic problems in the process of reform, I feel confused ... I am deeply proud that I am a member of the great team of the Party. I am proud of the glorious revolutionary course of our party. Eighty years ago in July, 12 representatives selected by China * * * from more than 50 people secretly spread the flame of revolution on ships in the Shanghai Concession and Nanhu Lake. In a short period of 28 years, the state power of 9.6 million square kilometers and 40,000 people has been realized. From a torn and trampled "sick man" to a prosperous and proud East Asian power, from humiliation to rise, from stagnation to take-off, from decline to prosperity, from bitterness to glory. What a huge energy release! What a great achievement! This is because China has advanced theoretical guidance, which is different from previous peasant uprisings and is not a simple regime change; This is because China is rooted in the soil of the people, rather than a lonely idealist fighting alone; This is because China represents the most advanced productive forces in the history of China and embodies the best essence of the Chinese nation. I am proud of the great achievements made in the construction of our party. 1949, on the eve of the founding of New China, Chairman Mao wrote excitedly: "Once the fate of China is in the hands of the people themselves, China will shine on the earth like the sun rises in the east, quickly clean up the sludge and muddy water left by the reactionary government, heal the wounds of war and build a brand-new, powerful and worthy people's Republic." History has entrusted China with the important task of national rejuvenation, and China has lived up to the great trust of history. During the 52-year stormy course, he led the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country to persevere, crushed the blockade and challenges of imperialism, defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country, overcame unimaginable difficulties one after another, and achieved a series of great achievements in socialist construction. Especially since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, we have drawn lessons from the previous 30 years and embarked on a successful road for Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Listening to the wave of knowledge-based economy and looking back at the glorious footprint of China in the past 80 years, an inspiring ode, indomitable spirit, unshakable ideal and unshakable confidence emerged involuntarily. As a member of more than 60 million comrades in China, I am very proud. I am proud that I have the honor to dedicate my weak body and meager strength to the most magnificent and greatest communist cause of mankind.
