Ren meridian and Du meridian originally belonged to odd meridian and eight meridians. Because they have definite acupoints, doctors call them fourteen meridians together with the twelve meridians. Ren pulse governs blood, which is the sea of yin pulse; Du meridian governs qi, and qi is the sea of yang pulse. In other words, Ren meridian and Du meridian respectively play a leading role in the six yin and six yang of twelve meridians. When the twelve meridians is full of qi and blood, it will overflow into Ren Du and Er Mai. On the other hand, if Ren Du's two veins are vigorous, they will also circulate on the the twelve meridians, so it is said that "Ren Du's veins are all accessible." As for "opening the second pulse of Ren Du", it can be discussed from the perspective of Chinese medicine and Taoism. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, we can understand the sequence of the twelve meridians and Ren Du from the narrative of Lingshu Qi Ying. The flow direction of meridians starts from the lung meridian and circulates to the liver meridian in turn; Then it enters the chest from the liver meridian, goes up to the top of the head through the forehead, goes down to the tail along the du meridian, passes through the yin organ and then passes through the ren meridian, and then flows back to the lung meridian. "Qi Ying" said: "What this Qi Ying does is often against his will. This is the natural law of Ren Du Qi running in human body described in medical classics. Understandably, as far as normal people are concerned, the second pulse of Ren Du is originally unblocked. Why should it be opened? From the Taoist point of view, the so-called "Tongren crossing" means going through three passes (tail, spine and jade pillow) and "Sunday" operation. The Taoist work Taiping Jing holds that the limit of human life is 120 years old. As long as we guide the training of Neidan, grasp the essence of heaven and earth from the "reverse" direction, condense the essence and improve the quality of life, we can challenge the limit of life. The so-called "reverse" means that the Du meridian starts from the perineum, passes through the three levels of the back, reaches the Baihui above the head, and then goes down to Dantian from the front. This is called Sunday, which is just the opposite of the meridian route proposed by the doctor above. Taoism combines innate essence with acquired qi (subtle water) to form "medicine", which is called "essence" and "early Qing" Then enter the stage of practicing qi and spirit in the big week, which is called "Guan Zhong"; Finally, in the final stage, the practice of Shangguan was still empty and entered the Tao body. Among them, Sunday's operation is mainly based on the second pulse of Ren Du, and this mechanism of rising first, then falling, and then rising is called the symbol of rising yang and falling yin, which is to get through the second pulse of Ren Du. The first pass is September, the middle pass is October, and the upper pass is nine years, which shows that practice is not easy. However, this training idea clearly shows the qualitative change process from body to mind, from tangible to intangible, and from material to spirit, which is concrete to follow. As for the possibility of external force "opening the second pulse of Ren Du", although Taoist priests with profound internal strength can be seen in the classics, that is, releasing external gas to treat diseases, except for martial arts novels, there is no theory of external gas opening the second pulse of Ren Du in the canon. Treating diseases by regulating qi was a helpless countermeasure against diseases under the medical environment at that time; Nowadays, medical technology is one hundred times more effective than regulating qi, and it should be exaggerated to say that it is easy to get through the second pulse of Ren Du with the help of external force. As far as my personal martial arts experience is concerned, the difference between a doctor and a Taoist can be distinguished from breathing along the abdomen and forging praise for breathing on the abdomen. The scripture says, "Follow the adults and oppose the immortals", that is, to supervise the pulse upward and let the pulse downward. As long as the training method is important, practitioners mediate the vitality of the human body, women mainly practice ren meridian to replenish blood, and men mainly practice du meridian to replenish qi; Starting from "adjusting the heart" and "entering the quiet", the river car is reversed, so that the body shape is fixed and the two arteries of Ren and Du are unobstructed. The so-called double cultivation of life is also the same.
