After the cement concrete pavement is paved, it should be maintained in time. In the early stage of maintenance, in order to prevent cement concrete from being exposed to the sun and rain, pavement maintenance should be carried out by spraying curing agent or using plastic film. Water conservation methods such as covering old sacks and straw bags can also be used.

The pavement sprayed with curing agent or with anti-skid structure must be protected by special personnel, and it is forbidden for people, livestock and vehicles to damage the pavement. After reaching 40% of the design strength, pedestrians and vehicles can be allowed to pass after the maintenance cover plate is removed.

The curing method of spraying curing agent is adopted, and the spraying thickness of spraying agent must ensure curing and film formation. Spraying agent should meet the water retention rate of ≧85%.

Curing agent with unqualified water retention rate or affecting cement setting strength shall not be used.

When the plastic film is used for curing, its thickness should be appropriate, and the butt length of the two films should not be less than1m. Be sure to cover the plastic film tightly on the road surface in the wild to prevent it from being hung up and blown by the wind.

When using plastic film to spray water for maintenance, it is necessary to spray water in time, and the frequency of spraying water depends on the weather conditions, so as to ensure that the plastic film is always in a wet state during the maintenance process. Sprinkle water 1-2 times a day on cloudy days and 2-3 times a day on sunny days. Covering curing period should be at least 7d. When laying a covering on the road, people are not allowed to step on the anti-skid structure of the road, nor are people, livestock and vehicles allowed to step on the road.
