Why can't Americans lift weights at the Olympics?
Weightlifting is actually a very popular sport in America. There are many weightlifting enthusiasts, and many people practice weightlifting in the gym. Weightlifting is very close to the people in America. I don't want the general impression of Olympic weightlifting: cruel, inhuman and anti-human.

The American weightlifting national team actually has no funds, and the state rarely gives financial subsidies. How do professional players make a living?

The weightlifters of the American national team are all non-professional weightlifters, even training in their own homes or taking time off to go to the gym.

Countries have different policies and systems. China players have no worries in this respect. The state gives financial subsidies, while the training of China players is more professional but cruel. They have a day off on New Year's Day and start training in the second day of junior high school. Coaches manage everything for you. Coaches know you better than their parents in life.

Weightlifting is an Olympic sport in China and a national fitness program in the United States.
