What is ballroom dancing?
Classification of social dance:

The first category is modern dance, including waltz (commonly known as slow three step), Viennese waltz (commonly known as fast three steps), blues (commonly known as slow four steps), foxtrot (commonly known as middle four steps), trot (commonly known as fast four steps), tango and so on.

The second category is Latin dance, including rumba, cha-cha, bullfighting, samba and jive. Influenced by the court dance, the style of ballroom dancing is: solemn and elegant dance, rigorous and standardized dance steps, and quite gentlemanly.

Social dance evolved from international standard dance, which is a fitness activity that is very suitable for popularization.
