Active and passive ways of thinking
To do a good job, we sometimes take the initiative and sometimes passively do it, but the results of the two kinds of thinking and attitudes are completely different.

Due to sedentary work, I felt uncomfortable in my cervical spine some time ago. I tried several ways to alleviate it. First of all, go to a masseur for massage. Massage is an external force, which can treat the symptoms but not the root cause. Later, I went to practice yoga, which is a spontaneous force. I practiced it several times, and I feel the effect is not bad. My body stretches from the inside out, and I am still addicted to it.

Because of sedentary work, I felt uncomfortable with my neck and cervical vertebra, so I went to the company's masseur and pressed it twice a week. Although it hurts when you press it, it can really relieve some discomfort, but it can cure the symptoms rather than the root cause. To sum up, continuous massage can alleviate it, but it will still be uncomfortable and passive.

Recently, I went to the company gym to practice yoga with several colleagues, and I had another insight and discovery. Yoga stretching is a spontaneous force, which brings physical stretching from the inside out and has a good effect on relieving various discomforts of the body.

Active exercise and passive massage seem to have the same purpose, but the effect is completely different. I choose active exercise to achieve balance and health.

Many things in life, seemingly uncontrollable, can actually do their homework in advance.

Even if we invite an important friend to dinner, we can do a lot of homework in advance. At the connection point of the appointed place, you can choose restaurants with various flavors to compare, comment and rank, or you can go to various restaurants to taste first. Many special situations can be controlled as long as adequate preparations are made. Even if friends' time changes, or there are special circumstances, we can take it easy and be foolproof.

The same is true of learning. If you want to take an exam, you should start intensive review many days in advance, read more reference books and do more real questions, instead of waiting until the exam to realize that time is pressing, cramming for the exam and taking the exam passively. If you realize the importance of the exam, take the initiative to prepare in advance instead of passively memorizing, the result will be completely different, so the gains will be real if you take the initiative to meet the challenge.

Looking at our work again, is the current state your ideal state? Maybe many people think I need to change, and some people think it's not good, but it's ok.

If we just stare at one point in our current work and work in the comfort zone again and again every day, instead of taking the initiative to make long-term thinking and planning, then when changes come, we will be caught off guard.

On the premise of doing my current job well, I will spend some time to do more important things, and seriously think about whether my work is the best, whether it is innovative, whether it can be improved, and if it can be improved, what is the direction, what is the strategy, and how to land it. It should be implemented in these directions. What is my future plan, what state I want to achieve, what kind of energy I want to pay, who I need to cooperate and cooperate with, and what kind of leadership support I need, all of which should be broken down into every detail to plan, land and implement. In this way, we can become the masters of our own lives. Therefore, we should take the initiative to plan our work instead of passively waiting for arrangements.

Active and passive, a word difference, thousands of miles away. No matter in all aspects of work, study and life, we should be alert to ourselves, actively plan our lives, and be the helm of our lives, instead of being passively arranged and unable to control them.

As long as we have a positive consciousness, take everything in life seriously with this attitude and make a little progress every day, we will embark on the life track of exponential growth.
