Notes on Huangdi's Internal Classic (14): Treating shoulder discomfort symptoms
When Ms. Tao came for an injection for the first time, her face was sallow and almost collapsed, and she leaned back softly. The right shoulder is sore and has been on and off for more than two years. In severe cases, I can't lift my arms, I can't sleep well at night, and I am sleepy and weak during the day. There are many acupuncture massages in the hospital. Come back in a few days. I'll let her try. It was difficult to raise her arm to her forehead, and then she began to grin.

Shoulder pain, identified as upper jiao; Shoulder pain, identified as the lower jiao, is forbidden to use acupuncture in the Yellow Emperor above the elbow and knee, and the needle is changed to the upper jiao.

Shoulder pain, the meridians are mainly in the Sun Meridian, Shaoyang Meridian and Yangming Meridian;

Shoulder pain, the meridians are mainly in Taiyang Meridian, Shaoyang Meridian, Yangming Meridian and Taiyin Meridian. The meridians where these diseases are located are combined with similar items, so the combination of acupoints is simplified and concentrated in the areas of Taiyang Meridian, Shaoyang Meridian, Yangming Meridian and Taiyin Meridian.

The triple energizer takes the wrist of the upper energizer, and acupuncture the Taiyang Meridian Zheng Zhi, Shaoyang Meridian Waiguan Point, Yangming Meridian Pianli and Taiyin Meridian.

At this time, let Ms. Tao raise her arm. She said it was better, but it still hurt.

Next, Yin and Yang are reversed, namely, the sun is reversed to Houxi point through Zheng Zhi point, Shaoyang to Zhongzhu point through Waiguan point, Yangming to Hegu point through Pianli point, and Taiyin to Yuji point through Ququ point.

At the same time, the table is turned upside down. The sun passes through Zheng Zhi, Shaoyang Meridian Waiguan, Yangming Meridian Pianli and Taiyin Meridian, and Yangming and Taiyin have been implicitly reversed, so only the sun and Shaoyang are selected for the inversion from the outside to the inside. The sun meridian branches Zheng Xue point and Houxi point, and the yin meridian at least Tongli point and Shaofu point are reversed from outside to inside; Shaoyang passes through Waiguan point and Zhongzhu point, and changes from exterior to interior to Jueyin point and Laogong point.

Then take the elbow Yangming meridian Quchi point and Taiyin meridian Chize point to adjust the middle.

After the needle is tied, let Ms. Tao raise her arm. She was surprised to find that her arm could not only be lifted freely, but also touch the back of her neck around her head.

The next day, Ms. Tao's symptoms improved by more than half, except for some sour feeling and slight pain. After using the needle for the second and third time, she felt two tendons in her right shoulder and arm, and the heavy feeling of pain and acid had disappeared. After four times of acupuncture, Ms. Tao never came again.

To deal with the symptoms of shoulder discomfort, according to the meridians where the symptoms are located, find Ashi point or acupuncture the same point in the focus area on the wrist.

If acupuncture is ineffective, you can switch up and down in the palm and elbow, or switch inside and outside to find a solution.

The meridian circulation of the shoulder is similar to that of the neck.

Just behind the shoulders, including the upper focus area of the back, the sun has the final say;

Go to both sides, near the shoulder-jaw point, where Shaoyang Xiao Jing Ge is located;

In the middle of the acromion area, this is the site of Yangming meridian;

Near Yunmen point and Zhongfu point in front of the shoulder, it is the residence point of Taiyin meridian;

Near the anterior axillary tendon is the circulation zone of Jueyin Meridian.

It should be noted here that considering the shoulder problem is often associated with the neck and shoulder problem. The problem of neck was specifically mentioned in the last article. Here, I will focus on the meridian circulation area of the shoulder.

Another thing to note is that shoulder discomfort can be more easily understood if you are familiar with meridians.

For example, from the perspective of triple focus positioning, the problem of shoulder can be classified as the positioning of trunk, from the perspective of upper focus; Shoulder problems can be classified as arm positioning and viewed in a lower focus.

When dealing with the symptoms of shoulder discomfort, the problem of shaoyin meridian is rarely involved, so when explaining the route of shoulder meridian, it is classified as shoulder area and introduced together.

Extending from shoulder to shoulder, there are three yang meridians outside (outside), which are Yangming meridian, Shaoyang meridian and Taiyang meridian in turn from front to back.

The regional division of these Yang meridians can be divided into three parts, namely, the connecting line between the shoulder-epiphysis of Yangming meridian and Quchi point, the connecting line between the shoulder-epiphysis of Shaoyang meridian and Tianjing point, and the connecting line between Taiyangshouzhen point and Xiaohai point, with the semi-axis and axis as the dividing center lines of the three Yang meridians, so as to relatively clearly distinguish the main areas of the three Yang meridians.

Similarly, the inner (inner) Sanyin Meridian is Taiyin Meridian, Jueyin Meridian and Shaoyin Meridian from shoulder to inner side. As the Taiyin Meridian and Jueyin Meridian have just said, Taiyin Meridian is the area in front of the shoulder, Jueyin Meridian is near the big tendon in front of the armpit, and Shaoyin Meridian is in the armpit, that is, the armpit.

The method of subdivision is the same as finding the connection line. Taiyin Meridian refers to Chize point at the first two horizontal points of Shoujian point, Jueyin Meridian refers to Quze point of anterior axillary tendon, and Shaoyin Meridian refers to Jiquan point to Shaohai point. The middle line between the connecting lines is the dividing line of the collaterals.

I have a good friend who is a fitness enthusiast. He ran to the gym at both ends for three days, his arms were bent and his tendons were all pimples. Suddenly came to see me the other day. I don't know if it's too hard to exercise, or if my shoulders are cold and I can't lift my left arm. Where is the pain point? The pain point is near the acromion point (Yangming meridian).

The symptoms are left, the left disease is right, the third jiao is taken from the right wrist, and the needle is inserted at Yangxi point of Yangming Meridian.

Let him raise his arm again. After all, an "athlete" raised his hand over his head. How's it going? He said that most of them were fine, but a little uncomfortable.

Continue to switch between Yin and Yang, and Yang Ming will switch up and down to pierce a needle through Yangxi point on the wrist and Quchi point on the elbow, and then let him lift it.

Of course, since it is up and down, you can go up to Hegu point in the palm of your hand or down to Quchi point in the elbow. As for where to fall, I know very well that switching up and down is the same. I usually don't have to be too rigid with needles.

This time, I can lift it more freely and put my arm around each other's neck. My friend said that I was a little careless at work these days, and my arms were raised a little high, and my tears were almost coming out. It's almost ready now. Why?

Why? This is the mystery of Huangdi Neijing! You buy a book and study hard. I sold it.

However, this imprisonment is really not difficult. If he really wants to learn, he can certainly learn. Huangdi Neijing is a simple needling method that everyone can learn.

For the sake of a good friend, I'll give you another injection, Taiyin Meridian Chise Point. This needle is neck and neck with Quchi point of Yangming meridian, which is not only the middle tone, but also the reversal of Taiyin meridian and Yangming meridian, and actually bought him an insurance.

Sure enough, once, my friend's arm recovered and went to the gym to show off.

Casual symptoms such as friends are not the same old-fashioned injuries, and they work faster with acupuncture in Huangdi. Some uncomfortable symptoms take a long time and the reasons are complicated, so acupuncture treatment will be more difficult.

A colleague has difficulty lifting his arm. The hospital diagnosed him as "fifty shoulders". Acupuncture, sticking plaster and taking western medicine have tried many methods but failed. The discomfort symptoms of this colleague are mainly the heaviness and soreness of the right shoulder and shoulder joint.

I asked my colleague to lift my elbow to my chest, and I couldn't lift it again. Let him stretch forward again, and the arm movements are basically effortless; When letting him stand back, his shoulders were uncomfortable when he just lifted them, and the place where he vaguely felt the big muscles under his arms was also supported.

It is difficult to lift the arm upward, and the obstacles are mainly concentrated in the areas of Yangming meridian and Taiyin meridian. After abduction, I feel uncomfortable at the axillary tendon, which is a problem of Jueyin Meridian.

It is an effective method to judge what the shoulder problem is and let the patient do forward, lift and backward movements.

It is difficult to stretch forward, and the general Sun Meridian, Shaoyang Meridian, Yangming Meridian and even Taiyin Meridian are more prone to problems;

It is difficult to spread backward, and there are problems in Yangming Meridian, Taiyin Meridian and Jueyin Meridian.

It is difficult to remove, and the Sun Meridian, Shaoyang Meridian, Yangming Meridian, Taiyin Meridian, Jueyin Meridian and even Shaoyin Meridian may be the problems. Of course, it is less likely to involve Shaoyin Meridian.

The specific judgment basis should be combined with the patient's feelings to judge.

This colleague can't lift his shoulders, and the diagnosis is lower coke. According to the rule of treating diseases from left to right, take his left wrist and prick one needle at Pianli point of Yangming meridian, Ququ point of Taiyin meridian and Neiguan point of Jueyin meridian.

Considering that my colleague's symptoms are more serious and the onset time is longer, I switch between yin and yang at the same time. I have a needle in the Yangming Meridian, Taiyin Meridian, Taiyin Meridian and Daling Meridian on my wrist, thus forming an up-and-down switch with the needle in front.

After acupuncture, my colleague's arm lift has improved, but the pain symptoms are still obvious.

My first choice is to consider the inversion of Yin and Yang (up and down), and each needle should be stabbed at Quchi point of Yangming meridian, Chize point of Taiyin meridian and Quze point of Jueyin meridian at the elbow.

But the pain symptoms haven't changed much.

It's not enough to switch up and down, then switch inside and outside. The first acupoints are Pianli in Yangming Meridian, Ququ in Taiyin Meridian and Neiguan in Jueyin Meridian. Yangming and Taiyin have the meaning of inside out. Now, as long as the Jueyin Meridian is inverted from the outside to the inside, the Neiguan point of Jueyin Meridian will be inverted at least at the Waiguan point of Yang Meridian.

At the same time, jump out of the circle of meridians up and down, and put the affected area into a larger space to consider.

Symptoms are mainly concentrated in Yangming meridian and Taiyin meridian, which can be regarded as the lateral and anterior side from the whole shoulder, that is, yang; The corresponding sunshine and partly cloudy area can also be understood as the back side and the back side, that is, the shade side.

This can broaden the thinking of using acupuncture and moxibustion, and yang disease can cure yin. Switch back and forth again and select the temple.

After acupuncture, his shoulder pain symptoms have been greatly improved, but there are still obvious pain points in his shoulder joint. This "stubborn old man" is really difficult to deal with.

After a moment's meditation, I drew a needle at the Yangming meridian point at two or three. Let colleagues feel the affected area again, and the pain point disappears.

Why did you choose a two-point three-point cross stab? The human body has triple energizer everywhere.

If the palm is upright and divided into triple energizer, if the palm root is regarded as the lower energizer, and the Laogong point and Shaofu point circle in the middle of the palm are regarded as the middle energizer, can the metacarpophalangeal joint (two or three points) be understood as the upper energizer?

Isn't the discomfort at the Yangming meridian point on the shoulder the same as that along the Yangming meridian point on the forefinger at two or three o'clock? Not only the meridians carry qi, but also the triple energizer. The same spirit naturally demands everything.

If the shoulder joint is in the lower focus, it is reasonable to use the needle at the corresponding other shoulder joint, but because it is forbidden to use the needle above the elbow and knee, it is changed from top to bottom to the upper focus wrist.

Of course, if the shoulder joint is placed on the trunk, it can also be regarded as the upper focus, which also corresponds to the same qi.

By analogy, a palm can actually cover everything.

My colleague's "fifty shoulders" were treated with acupuncture for three or four times, and the symptoms of shoulder discomfort were basically eliminated.

After more than a month, I once asked him how his shoulder was. Unexpectedly, he told me again and again. I wonder, changed face so soon?

This colleague is a top calligraphy lover. His shoulders improved slightly and he began to cling to his ideals. He didn't pay attention to rest, and he came back sick. Back to the old question, who is responsible for health?

It is suggested that the syndrome of shoulder pain is regarded as the upper jiao (the syndrome of shoulder pain can be regarded as the lower jiao), and the main meridians are Sun, Shaoyang, Yangming, Taiyin, Jueyin and Shaoyin.

Generally speaking, we should seek common ground according to the laws of treating the upper disease, the left disease and the right disease.

Acupoint selection can refer to the acupoints given in the chapter "Shoulder Meridian (Same Qi)" in Huangdi Neijing.

The specific point selection can be based on Ashi point. If the acupuncture effect is not good, it can be strengthened by reversing yin and yang.
