Hubei Provincial Museum is located in Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area, built in 1953. By the end of 2009, Hubei Provincial Museum had a total area of 8 1.909 m2, a building area of 496 1 m2, an exhibition hall area of 1.3427 m2, and more than 200,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics were collected, including nearly 1,000 pieces (sets) of national first-class cultural relics, making it the largest ancient musical instrument in China.
