Is fasting blood glucose 7. 1 normal?
Normal fasting blood glucose

① Generally, the fasting blood glucose is 3.9 ~ 6.1mmol/L (70 ~110 mg/dl), and the plasma glucose is 3.9 ~ 6.9 mmol/L (70 ~125mg/dl).

② Fasting blood glucose ≥6.7 mmol/L( 1.20mg/dl) and plasma glucose ≥7.8 mmol/L( 1.40mg/dl), and repeated measurements can diagnose diabetes.

③ When the fasting blood glucose is above 5.6 mmol/L (100 mg/dl) and the plasma glucose is above 6.4 mmol/L (115 mg/dl), the glucose tolerance test should be done.

④ When fasting blood glucose exceeds11.1mmol/L (200 mg/dl), it means that insulin secretion is little or lacking. Therefore, when fasting blood glucose is significantly increased, diabetes can be diagnosed without other tests.

Normal postprandial blood glucose

65438+ 0 hour after meal: blood sugar is 6.7-9.4 mmol/L. The maximum is11.1mmol/L (200 mg/dl).

2 hours after meal: blood sugar ≤ 7.8 mmol/L.

3 hours after meals: it returned to normal after 3 hours, and urine sugar was negative every time.
