Hengdian Film and Television City is the largest film and television shooting base in the world. Founded in 1996, it has more than ten film and television shooting bases, including Guangzhou Street, Gangjie Street, Ming and Qing Palace, Qin king Palace, Riverside Map in Qingming, Jiangnan Water Town in Dream Valley, Ming and Qing Dwellings Expo City, Huaxia Cultural Park, Pingyandong Mansion, Dazhi Temple, Guo Min Street, Chunqiu Garden and Tang Palace. In 2004, Hengdian Film and Television Industry Experimental Zone was established as a national film and television industry experimental zone.
