The new gymnasium of Sun Yat-sen University has a total construction area of 177 15.2 square meters, with one underground floor and one ground floor (three floors locally). The gymnasium has a dance room, a table tennis room, a fencing room, a Taekwondo field, a badminton hall, a tennis hall and a gym for physical education and activities, which can be used for competitive sports such as track and field, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis and fencing, as well as large-scale cultural performances, gatherings and exhibitions.
