Changchun Fitness Park is one of the construction projects of Kunyu River landscape corridor. The Kunyu River Landscape Corridor starts from Bayi Lake in the south and reaches Ruyimen in the Summer Palace in the north, with a total length of 10 km and a planned green area of about 130 hectares, including the construction of "one water, two roads, four interchanges and five parks". "Yishui" refers to Kunyu River; "Two roads" refers to the banks of the south road of Landianchang; "Four interchanges" refer to Balizhuang Bridge, Chedaogou Bridge, Changchun Bridge and Huoqiying Bridge; "Five Gardens" refer to Bagou Landscape Garden, Changchun Fitness Park, Lu Xun Cultural Park, Jinyuan Entertainment Park and Linglong Park. By then, the banks of Kunyu River will present four beautiful seasons: a willow, a peach shade, a silver maple in autumn and a little green leaves. The bridge is covered with colorful lights, which complement the natural landscape.
As one of the five parks, Changchun Fitness Park covers an area of 80,000 square meters, with more than 65,438 trees and shrubs and a lawn of 40,000 square meters. There are 4 tennis courts, 1 full court basketball court, 4 half court basketball courts, fitness area and children's activity area in the park. People of different ages can find their own sports and leisure facilities in the park. The whole garden is surrounded by green trees and grass, where "nature" and "sports" are integrated, and leisure sports are integrated into natural scenery. The fitness park was opened to the public free of charge on June, 2007 10, and was widely praised by the general public.
