What happened to the hardest-working students you met?
The hardest-working student I have ever met is a classmate in high school. He can leave a deep impression on me, on the one hand, because he studies hard, on the other hand, because he can write a good hand.

Our school requires to arrive at school at 7: 0010 every morning, and then do morning reading. According to his parents' meeting, he gets up at half past five every morning and recites English words for half an hour. Then brush your teeth, wash your face, eat, and wait until you get to school at half past six. Most of us go to class on foot. He arrives at 6:40. I have been sitting in the classroom and started reading Chinese and English.

Anyway, no matter where you see him, he must have an English brochure or a Chinese brochure on his back. When class is over, everyone is resting. The way he rests is to practice writing. The most common practice is block letters, and occasionally I practice English. We often say that his handwriting is so beautiful that he doesn't need to practice, but he says he must stick to it, or his hands will grow.

During the lunch break at noon, most of us will choose to go home and sleep for an hour or two before rushing to school. He's different. He just lay in the classroom for half an hour. Get up and start doing math problems. And every time I go to the office, I can basically see him asking questions to either the math teacher or the English teacher. Saturday and Sunday are holidays. We are going out to play, and neither is he. They are all studying. A very, very hard-working boy.

Then he failed in the college entrance examination. To everyone's surprise, because he usually works really hard. But the fact is that his math and English have left him a lot behind. As a result, he only got into an ordinary two books. But now he's still trying. It is said that he has won a scholarship from the school for two years. And passed the examinations in Putonghua and teaching materials. Hard work still pays off.
